Went for hair color for 6 months and never got the same color twice even though I did not change anything. For the price I paid I expected my hair to look like a professional did it but instead I did a better job with the $10 box of Revlon. They increased the price after my first visit by 10%. Agree with a previous review. They are not transparent about their pricing at all. The range on the website is very big. A women's haircut ranging from 35 to 88. My haircut took a grand total of 20 minutes and they charged me $85. Really with no explanation. I won't be returning

Reception:
When I walked in I wasn't sure if they were open... there was no one there and the blonde receptionist ignored me for a few minutes while on the phone. After she hung up she still ignored me until I said "Hi". Then she said, oh sorry that was my boss. Before I moved here I gave 8 years of repeat business to a salon -- first impressions matter ;D
Haircut:
Haircut and hairstylist was great, although I didn't ask for an oil-scalp-massage, nor did I want one. Maybe they up-charged me for this? It would explain part of the bait-switch price, but the receptionist never explained the pricing...
Price:
When checking out, I expected the mens haircut to be $30, because the brochure on their table listed adult men's haircuts at $30. When the receptionist looked up a price in her book, she asked for $45. I mentioned that I expected it to be $30 from the brochure. She didn't believe me, walked over and picked up the brochure and came back and said "oh it's starting at $30." Without explaining how she got to $45, she passive-aggressively told me it was common in the area and her son was usually charged $50 for his haircut and tipped $10 on top of that. I don't recall the brochure saying "starting," but ok fine I just wanted to leave. I personally wanted to tip 20% but the idea of going over $50 when I thought it was going to be $30 was shocking. I tipped $5 and left.
Did a simple mens haircut really just cost me $50? Ok maybe this is a salon for folks in a higher tax-bracket than me. Still not a fan of bait-switch though. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they're still figuring things out.
This salon is adorable! All of the stylists are fun and do such a wonderful job! Luda comes highly recommended! I won't go anywhere else.
I've followed Kari around for more than a decade. She's amazing! I now live out of state and schedule my appts with her for my trips in town. Hard to replace her.
