This was our first visit and I had a horrible haircut that followed me to this salon. Charlot gave me a clean-up haircut and she did a beautiful job, considering what she had to work with! The color she did was awesome and a much better look than all the gold highlights before! I highly recommend her for cut and color, I'll be back, that's for sure!
Charlot also cut my husbands hair and gave him a fresh, modern look! He's very happy and looks 10 years younger! It's amazing what a good haircut can do! He already has his next appointment set too!

This a great Salon in the Saxony area. Lots of parking and easy access right off Olio. very friendly staff My stylist was Melissa, she did a great job and really listened to my thoughts. They offer a wide variety of services. The salon has a small retail section with shampoos conditioners and styling products.
Friendliness, cleanliness, and skill! I I always leave feeling great. My stylist knows so much about not only cutting hair but also what products, shampoos, and conditioners will really help my hair. I went here when I started having issues with my hair, and they helped me find what worked to make it healthy again!
I had the best experience here. I had Julie and her assistant and they were so amazing! Julie has so much knowledge of her trade, I was impressed and felt safe and in good hands. I have never met someone so knowledgeable about the chemistry of hair and how to treat it and she gave me exactly what I wanted! My hair was highlighted and kissed with a little red to look beachy and rich. It was my first time so I got a free cut too. I have long hair and she left it perfectly long doing exactly as I wished. It normally takes me so long to find a salon to stick with because I'm so picky but I'm so lucky to have found the Alternative Hair Studio.
It was a 3 hour process but it felt so fast because they were so kind and offered refreshments. I recommend this place because it's clean, friendly, professional, and my hair felt healthier after the visit.
