You know what I love about Dollar Cuts in Roy?
- I can almost always get an appointment the same or next day.
- The manager fixed my bad dye job that left my hair that I asked to be highlights of blond with strawberry blond all over copper penny color. She neutralized it and it looked a lot better. Plus she was fast & not expensive.
- Got my brows tinted, very happy. Again, fast and great price.
- Got a trim and very happy. I was in a hurry and I was in/out so quick. My daughter got a trim and style, happy. I'm curious on a full haircut but that's coming next.
- Got gel nails. Not fancy. There's no massage chair, not a lot of colors to choose from or cute designs. But happy with my nails, especially for the price.
- They do eyelash extensions too but I haven't tried them. I prefer getting a curl/tint so if they offer that I'll get it here. Right now I go to True Beauty Forever in Layton for that.
Overall you should ask for a specific stylist (look at reviews or go in and pay attention to who does a good job). I say that because people seem to either hate or love this place. It's probably a lot depending on who you get. I ask for the manager - Aleisha (not sure how to spell her name) but I've gone to at least 2 other stylists and they've all been great.
Normally I pay a lot, wait weeks to get an appointment and am fairly happy with my hair stylists. But I love not spending hours or a lot of cash here. I've learned never to drop in at other discount places (like the ones in strip malls and the mall) but Dollar Cuts is the exception. I was very skeptical but I've been back several times and plan to continue.
I went to get my haircut and the lady (Deanna) had NO CLUE what she was doing!!!! I was about to walk out with my hair a mess until the other girl Amber came and fixed it. I walked out of this place before with Deanna trying to do a color that she didn't know anything that I was saying!! I DO NOT recommend that she continues to do hair!! I wouldn't have given any stars if it wasn't for Amber .. Thank you for fixing her mess!!
