I was referred to this salon and I have been a client over 2 years. The salon provide professional and personalized service. The stylists are friendly,honest about the styling and hair care products appropriate for hair type. My stylist is Erika! The prices are a on the high end,but its worth it and specials are always going on because of customer appreciation. Appointments are honored,and reminder calls are given. I receive compliments all the time especially for my color!

Pros: The stylist take their time to explain to you which products they are using on your hair during the entire process. They are also all about education and giving you important tips on healthy hair maintenance. Cons: Time management- they are very late for appointments. My First visit wait time was 52 minutes even though though I previously scheduled an appointment. My second visit wait was two hours ( I eventually had to just walk out ) Advice: schedule appointments in real time. Tardiness is an act of arrogance and shows disregard for clients time.

Very professional. I love that they are interested in helping me to maintain healthy hair and not just styling it. I am educated about each product they use and the reasoning for its use.

I happened upon this salon approximately 9 years ago - the best thing to happen to my hair ever! The staff is knowledgeable and professional; they care about the health of your hair and will teach you how to care for your hair to maintain that health. The entire staff: Myasha, Danielle, Erica, James and Debbie, make this great team that pitch hit for each other and keep this atmosphere of free spirited, engaging love. I love going to Divas, actually consider my bi-weekly appointment an engagement I can't do without. Unlike many Baltimore hair salons, it has an understated sophistocated feel - one where you know once you enter; you're in very capable hands. I am so glad I found them and I believe everyone that patronizes this salon is made to feel like family. Love you guys...

Don't let the name scares you! Although the place is mainly for black women, I'd never found any place in Baltimore that can cut my hair so well!! Being an asian male, it's hard to find a place that doesn't just shave your sides off and chop the top off in 2 seconds. That or they spend 30 min trying to make your hair look stylish when they have no idea what they're doing, and later you find out they didn't cut parts of your hair at all. I've had a couple good hairdresser in the past but they all moved away or stopped cutting hair. My excoworker recommended me this place few years ago after I was complaining to her how it's so hard to find a place to get a good haircut. She then introduced her hairdresser to me, as skeptical as I was, she assured me that her hairdresser knows how to cut asian male hair well. I was pretty intimidated when I first get there, since I was the only 1) Asian 2)Straight Male, in that place. I definitely got alot of stares. The people there are very professional and extremely friendly, if you're not sure about anything, just ask, they're more than welcomed to help. Now I go there regularly and if you want to check it out, just call and ask for Myasha or Erika, say I recommend you.
