Product selection is mediocre as far as products for natural hair are concerned. I'm assuming the Asian man who was following me around the whole time was the owner. He made no attempts to be even discrete. He just followed me around. He had his staff try to do the same but I just grabbed a conditioner (it was an emergency) and left. Expect for the clerk at the front, the staff and ownership was NASTY and racist for the product selection to be sub par.
Tried to charge me full price even with signs of sale all over the store... Bad business. I will not be going back.
sometimes they have what you need if your lucky but costumer service isn't the best and when you contact them over the phone they can't give you prices over the phone or help you with what you need
Hair Town used to be my go-to spot since high school. I usually would go just for braiding hair and nothing else. They have a huge variety of hair and other supplies, much bigger than other beauty stores in the area. I opt not to get other supplies there that I can find in Target, Walmart, or other discount stores because they are usually a little more pricey. It had been at least 3 years since I've been here because I've been getting my hair cut so I haven't needed braiding hair. I've recently been growing my hair to get it braided so today has been my first time back since. The selection is still stellar and the staff is still very friendly and helpful. They had a 10% sale on select braiding hair so I saved a little money. I highly recommend Hair Town!
The young lady in the store was very helpful & she had good customer service. The store items were reasonably priced too.
