Weekday evenings can also be particularly busy as clients tend to schedule post-work appointments. Booking in advance is always advised, but if you're seeking a less bustling environment, you can inquire with Diamond Nails about their quieter hours.
My mom and I wanted to get our nails done and we're total procrastinators. We called around and this salon got us in last minute. Which maybe should have been a sign to not go, but as they say hindsight is 20/20. When we arrived they sat us quickly as no one else was there. I selected the $50 option and was so disappointed. Because I didn't want to upgrade to the gel nail polish I was rushed through my session. The guy tried multiple times to get me to upgrade, but when someone says no they should respect that. While the quality of the box pedicure they used was nice, the pedicure itself was lacking. Barely anytime spent on massaging, foot soak, and then left me with cold towels and cold wax on my feet for over 15 minutes while the guy serviced someone else who was paying for the gel pedicure. Highly unprofessional attitude. Then as my nails are drying the woman in the shop touches my nails and smears it and has the audacity to try and blame me for it. Then I asked for it to be fixed and instead of it being fixed, she just paints more nail polish on top of it. Then she put me under a blower for my nails to dry and my nails look horrible! I'm so disappointed in the quality of work for the price. While I was there a woman came back into the shop because her nail (I'm assuming acrylic) broke not for the first time, but the second time. All of these signs just indicate I'll never return here. I could have done the pedicure at home and saved myself some money. Honestly looking at my nails even closer now, I'm appalled by what they think is acceptable. I'll never go back here again.
This place is the most unprofessional place I've ever been to. When I got there and told them what I wanted, I was told that it couldn't be done which I know is a lie because I've gotten it done elsewhere. After my nails were finished, there was residue left all over my fingers. Once I attempted to pay, the guy seen my $100 bill come from my African American hand and assumed it wasn't authentic because it was an older bill. I assured him it was and he refused to check it. Instead he pressured me about paying with a card. Both the bill and the card were placed in his hand but he returned them on the counter. I left and had the bill checked for authenticity just for verification and the bill passed the inspection. I attempted to call back to speak with the owner and was told that he's not working. I asked when he would be in so I could speak to him and the lady hung up on me. I called again and they hung up without saying anything that time. Please don't waste your time or money going to see anyone in this place.
Worst pedicure I've ever had. I had cold water and it lasted maybe 10 minutes. and they didn't even scrub all the dead skin off of my feet. When I left they were just rough as when I walked in. The nail polish looks like it was slapped on my a 12 year old. When I asked to only be charged for a polish change they refused. It was a total waste of money.
Got my nails done people there are rude. Next day gel already peeled off one finger. Less than a week later chipping on more. Worst experience and gel paint ever. Would never go back
I took my 6 year old for her first experience while we were on mom/daughter trip. She was so excited. We walk in and I told the lady we wanted daughter to have her nails (fingers and toes) painted and I wanted a basic pedicure. She kept trying to upcharge saying you need Crystal Gel because you wear boots (I didn't have sandals on). I declined but she was rude the rest of the time. They painted my daughter's toes fine but when it came to her nails they didn't move her to the hand station- they did them in the chair and told her to keep hands on her lap. My pedicure lasted 7 minutes total (I timed it) when basic spa pedi's last 25+ more when I've had it done elsewhere. Do not go here!
