Dearborn Nails Salon in Dearborn, MI

zero if I could. went In to get my nail fixed & it looks worse than when it was broken. from the shape to the diff color in nail polish. my neighbor recommended, pure waste of money. techs are rude.

I've never left a review before, but the nail techs here were so rude! I went in to get a nail fixed and they didn't believe that was necessary. Even if it wasn't, they could have been respectful. Instead, I was laughed at and made to feel incredibly uncomfortable.

This was the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done! I wanted one nail repaired and was attacked for it. I come here often because it is so close to my house I usually get great service. However today one lady named Joseline asked why I keep coming to get my nails fixed and not get a fill in. She proceeds to tell me with an attitude that it's more expensive to keep getting nails repaired. I told her that I don't have the time for a whole fill in. Of course she then laughed and said whatever she's saying to her coworkers. I didn't let the laughing get to me, but I am not clueless and know when someone is smirking and laughing at me. I came last week right after work and today after work. The one time that I had time to get my nails done was when I came 3 weeks ago. I also do not get regular fill ins because it irritates my nails. She proceeded to pull my nail towards her and started apply the fake nail. She also wanted me to keep my hand raised up the entire time which was also uncomfortable and unnecessary. At the end of this horrible service I asked for a manager which she then replied, "why" (with an attitude). I paid my $5 but that is the last time I will be giving this location anymore of my time or money. This is very unfortunate because I actually enjoyed coming here for so long and even came here to get my nails done for my wedding. I wish I could give zero stars and I'll start the search for a new nail salon.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would!!! My friend and I arrived in Michigan on Friday, April 14th from Pennsylvania to attend an even on Saturday. We searched nail salons on Google and came across Dearborn. We called the salon and inquired if they had availability for two pedicures, a fill and either a fill or a manicure. The woman on the telephone instructed us to come in and that they would wait on us. We arrived less than 20 minutes later. As we walked in, a woman across the shop, to the right of the entrance waved and asked how she could help us. We informed her that we were the individuals who had just called. She instructed us to pick our color and have a seat. As my friend walked past the stations in the front on the left, a tech began to speak very loudly in her native language while hysterically laughing and looking at my sister and I while she continuously adds in "rock, paper, scissors" in English. She continued to speak and laugh like a hyena while looking at us ; never asked a question in English or addressed us, just cackled . As their were no other African Americans in the salon, we very much knew she was speaking ill of us and the continuous chant of "rock, paper scissors" and "high fiving" the tech next to her added the final level of disrespect. The salon was very quiet when we walked in but suddenly after we arrived and signed in and she looked at us her cackling began. I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed. As my friend walked back to the front and joined me in the seating area, she expressed that she felt like the woman at the front station on the left was speaking negatively about her because as soon as she walked passed her, the woman began to laugh and cackle. I agreed with her and we decided to leave. We stood up and exited the shop. No one asked us where we were going or what we needed. We refused to stay and spend money in an environment that wasn't comfortable or welcoming. We walked to the car and googled another salon which was GIGI'S. We went there where we were welcomed and no cackling happened after we arrived. Dearborn left an awful taste in our mouths but we refused to allow the racist feel ruin our trip. God bless folk who frequent this place but if you're African American and you arrive in town seeking a nail salon, DO NOT go to this place!!!

Perfect shellac manicure every time. Last for two weeks. This color is 478 DND... maybe??? Ask for Don.
