I'm brand new to the area and was in desperate need of a change. I relied on Yelp reviews to send me to Tony, and it was such a great decision! Went in with a mass of curly out of control hair, left with a sleek shag and a lesson in straightening ! The salon is nice, but Tony is a master- I've been back twice and am very pleased.
I went to Salon 10 North for a haircut last week. I read the good reviews on Yelp and made an appointment when I saw 5 stars. Tony asked me what I wanted as it had been several months since I had a haircut. He saw that I had very curly hair and told him that I had had a stroke and I didn't have use of my arm to use a blow dryer. He spent a lot of time cutting my hair and doing a blow out. I loved it when it was finished but by the time I got home it was already starting to curl. Now that my hair has to be in the natural state, I hate the cut. I told him at the beginning that I needed to wear it natural. I will have to live with this until it grows out. I feel that I really wasted $50 and will go to someone who will cut it in the style I wear it.
I just started going here about 24+ months ago, and I love it! I typically go in and tell Tony to make me look pretty, and he does just that... (He is the expert, he knows what's trending, and probably have a better idea about what styles would look good with my face) I'm not sure what he does, but I continually get compliments about my hair - just after a hair cut, and even when it starts growing out, the compliments keep coming. Maybe he has magic scissors... who knows? Thank you Tony!
I have been going to Tony at Salon 10 North for almost 8 years. He is the best hairstylist around!!! I would not let any other hairdresser touch my hair with a 10 foot pole. Tony is Professional, Precise and so very Awesome!!! I would highly recommend Tony from Salon 10 North!!!
I had no idea this place was even there, tucked away in a neat little space on West MI Ave. Called to book a haircut and received very friendly and informative service on the phone. Tricia cut my hair. She was awesome. Cute, friendly gal, very professional. She took the time to talk to me about my expectations and preferences regarding the haircut she was about to give me. It's one of the best haircuts I ever had. I am quite happy I found this place and will for sure return for more services!
