This is the worst hair salon I've ever been to. There is no order and the way they run their business is very archaic and unprofessional. Everything is done on paper not the computer and they only take cash. They jump around the list a lot and there's no clear way to understand who is actually next. Several of the "hairstylists" answered their cellphones while in the middle of cutting someone's hair. They also don't have any barbicide (the blue disinfecting solution you see at most salons) at any of the stations so I'm not actually sure how/if they actually disinfect the tools they use. All of that being said... they were super packed and it seems like they have a lot of regulars. It took me two hours to actually be seen/helped. They don't work very efficiently and take an extremely long time on every client. Even for very simple cuts/styles. I will definitely never return here but I'm happy that there's somewhere close that the locals can go to for their hair needs.
I've been going to Yanet for about 11yrs now. She's been at this salon for about 2 yrs now. The place has a great environment, plenty of chairs to move the line quickly. Yanet Is great, she cuts hair just like a male barber or even better I would say. I've tried changing to other barbers and after they mess me up I always end up coming back to Yanet. I live in Pflugerville and make the drive to south Austin because it's definitely worth it .The only down side is that she is first come first serve basis, since she has so many walk ins, that she can't maintain only appointments.
