Da-Vi Nails in Centerville, UT

I've been going for months to this salon but last week was my last. They get so busy on weekends and try to take care of multiple customers at once. No washing of their hands between customers and no cleaning of the stations and tools between customers. They were so quick with my nails last week that a week and a half later the polish is peeling. They went back and forth between me and other clients and didn't take the time to paint them all the way. I always get gel on my tips and that lasts for weeks but this time they didn't even bother.

Never again. Wish I could give 0 stars I went in and asked for a French tip with coffin the shape was wonderful but MiMi went super fast and caused the acrylic to bubble she realized it was super bubbly and she tried to buff it down again but put the acrylic down fast again causing more bubbles her manager then came over to see what was taking so long and he said it looks fine to me and I explained that I didn't complain she knew it was wrong and was trying to fix it. He said you did clear coat and not pink you need pink. I explained that no I always do clear and prefer clear and he said "you do clear and not pink and it bubble like that not my problem. You deal" super unprofessional and now my nails look bubbly and bad and she charged me $45 for them.

The prices are reasonable and the service is superb.  My nail bed is very thin. I started gel dip about a year ago.  Most artificial nail products burn my skin.  The gel dip works great and my nails are now healthy.   Da vi nail techs are professionals.  The facility is always clean. Davi nails goes through strenuous health inspections and passes every one.  I highly recommend this business.

I've been coming here for three years! I love the wonderful pedicures they give, I never am disappointed. I get a fill every 2-3 weeks from Jessie, she's the reason my sister, mom and I have stayed loyal for so long because she does an AMAZING job! I have tried going to other places closer to where I live in SLC, but go running back to her. I don't trust others to do designs, or as perfect of a job as she can. I came in recently and out of the blue she was gone! My heart is broken. Johnny did my nails, and they hurt so bad. He just files so fast he burns and cuts your skin. My nails are shaped so badly and uneven, and so much shorter than I asked for! When I asked him to slow down and that he was hurting, it was like I was ignored. He has us jump from his wife to him back to his wife, it's just a hassle and stressful experience for something I want relaxing and am paying for! He's so rushed he doesn't ask if it looks okay (because I'd say no). When he has people walk in asking how long, he says take a seat, not long at all... you'll be waiting almost an hour just to have him do a poor job that will make your fingers sore for hours.

The only reason they have so many clients is because of Jessie, now that she's gone... they'll lose a lot of customers.

This salon is inside the Walmart in Centerville but owned independently. Decent service and nails turned out fine. Nothing special in the experience category except they are open on Sunday which is a huge plus in my book due to my busy weekday schedule. Daughter had pedi and shellac mani. I had shellac French mani. All in for $100 including tips for 3 service providers. Not exactly cheap but again - just decent. Will probably be back due to limited Sunday hours elsewhere but don't see myself being loyal here.
