Cost Cutters in Springfield, MA

Wow. Have come here for years and seen many different stylists, including the one who took my call today. Two times ago, they didn't record my appointment due to the online versus phone call system glitch others have mentioned. They did fit me in thankfully. This last time, no one showed up for my appointment at all and the salon remained closed when it was supposed to be open. I waited for 25 minutes outside and tried to call them all day. No one called me to explain or apologize. A week later I called them and explained what happened and asked if I could get a credit for my next haircut (literally a basic $20 cut). The woman said no, this is "the cost of doing business during covid, people call in sick everyday" and just offered to reschedule my appointment. Not even a discount offered. I could see maybe if they contacted me that morning and said "We need to reschedule you" or even contacted me at all - absolutely no need to offer any discount. But that's ridiculous to no show, no call a customer and not offer anything especially if they ask. Time for a new salon! Maybe the cost cutters in enfield where I had to go instead. Interesting to note the stylists there said they get a lot people from the springfield location saying the same thing on the weekends, especially a nice beautiful day like the one when I was scheduled!

Unprofessional and absolute disrespectful. My wife made an online appointment at the Cooley Street location. She went in for her appointment and the employee said we cancelled your appointment. This is the second time within a year they have done this! The employee then says that we only accept appointments over the phone and if someone made an online appointment we cancel it. She then says that their Corp office does not know their business. My wife, who is upset and rightfully so, say that's not right. The employee starts to yells at my wife so my wife just hung up the phone. So yourself a favor and stay away from this location. They deserve to be closed.
