Avanti Salon & Day Spa in Springfield, MA

I've been a customer for almost 2 years. Lately it's been hard to get an appointment. I had a medical emergency today and had to cancel last minute, which I never do. Being in pain no way I could get my hair done for 2 hours. I called and asked to reschedule and got attitude from the receptionist. Told I couldn't because my stylist is going away yet again next week and she has no openings. I'm like no openings forever? I got told nothing until next month. Well great for her she's so booked! I don't complain when my hair is cut too much and I'm waiting for a good 10-15 minutes for my stylist to come in. Given the circumstances I would expect a little more understanding. Plus always books my appointment with another client so I'm waiting for her to finish with then while I wait for my color. Never complained !! Until now. I won't be going back.

Brittney Minniear made me love my hair again! I'm so impressed with her, and so grateful I found her. She is TALENTED! She stripped 12 years of bright red box dye from my long, long thick hair, and helped me transition to a beautiful silver & pepper to blend with my very many incoming grays. She's been super fun to work with, and is easy to talk to while we spend hours on my hair. She offered water, coffee, tea, and snacks more than once. She is super meticulous with her work, pays attention to every little detail, doesn't rush, but is efficient with time. She was accommodating of my sensitive scalp, and my difficulty sitting still for so long. Her pricing was beyond reasonable. She sent me home with complimentary hair masks and oil treatments. She is also the first stylist who has *ever* given me a haircut I've loved when my hair has been very long. She was able to give it so much shape and body, while keeping as much length as possible. My hair looks and feels amazing. I absolutely love it, and so does everyone else who has seen it. The salon is very nice and Brittney is as meticulous with cleaning and sanitization as she is with hair. I will follow Brittney anywhere drivable that her career takes her.

Absolutely fantastic service today for this first-time visitor to the salon! The salon was super clean, the foot bath for my pedicure was probably THE cleanest and most comfortable pedicure station I've ever frequented. Warm welcome from the minute I walked in, through my two hours of pampering mani/pedi time, and till the closing business of payment. My nail technician Jenna was AMAZING and did an absolutely fabulous job. Professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to communicate with, attentive. Jen, the salon owner, was also super helpful and nice. What a great experience that literally made my day! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
