Clayton Nail Spa in St. Louis, MO

So the staff was very nice and clean. They had Netflix playing which was nice and got me Right in. But I'm unsure what I paid for... she did not do any hand soaking, hang nail or cuticle trimming (even though I specifically asked. She just said she'd do it if she saw one). This is the second place i have gone to that doesn't do that part of the manicure. So instead of getting a dip manicure I basically just got a dip polish change... but I paid for a manicure.

I'd  like to preface but saying I NEVER leave reviews of places. I am new to Saint Louis and came here a couple of weeks ago to get dip. Last time it was great! This time I can't say the same. I quite literally had the worst experience. They kept burning me with the nail drill, Couldn't get the dip off from last time (which I literally got here) and they were bending my natural nail and using a fake tip to try to pry it off, I had to keep asking her to fix the length and shape because they were all different lengths, and you can see the drill marks in the nail color. My nails hurt from how much she was drilling and bending my nails. I've never seen the dip color be under my nails and am just so disappointed I spent money on this. I am not super super picky when it comes to my nails and dip because I have never had a negative experience but I will not be coming back here. The pictures don't do it justice of what it looks like in real life. The last girl I had a few weeks ago was great but today made me sure to check out other places in the area.

First time customer for a mani/pedi. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and although it was fairly busy, I was helped immediately and underway in just a few minutes. Kim did an excellent job and the overall atmosphere is really nice. I highly recommend!

I needed an emergency mani (dip powder) after several of my nails chipped in just a couple of days. They fit me in at 6:15, not long before closing time. I don't know the name of the girl who did my manicure, but she did an amazing job. I like my nails very short, and usually I get told that they can't cut them as short as I want them, but she didn't even flinch, she just did it. The shape is beautiful, too, and so is the application of the dip. She was very thorough with my cuticles. I'm new to the area, and I think I just found my new nail spot.

I asked for a milky white SHARP square matte nail. This is what I got. When I told her I didn't want the gloss she said "we can do no gloss the next time you come back" I will not be coming back. She even had the nerve to say the nails looked better than the picture. There is absolutely no apex and they look like I've had them for a week when I walked out of the store. I was very upset. My toenails are rounded and broke off and the lady who did my feet barely scrubbed them. Just very disappointing.
