Changes Hair Salon in College Station, TX

I highly recommend Elaine...she totally get my wavy-curly hair. She will tell you if a cut will or will not work for you and ask how much time do you want to spend fixing it. I recommend Elaine to Everyone. She has cut and or styled every member in my family's hair, from my husband, son, mom, sisters, niece, to friends, co-workers, and boss.

The staff at this establishment are BEYOND rude. I parked in their "marked" parking spots (can barely tell) with not to mention no towing sign anywhere in sight, for 1 minute while I ran in and grabbed a packet at tutor John. This lady ran out SCREAMING at me for parking in the spot. The way she handled this situation was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. I told her politely that I was running in and would be 1 minute and she kept blabbing off more rude remarks. Also not to mention the place was closing in 20 minutes and not a soul was parked around me. After the way this situation was held, I will never get my haircut here and will tell everyone I know NEVER to go here again.

I loved this place! Even though site says appointment only, I called and they said they could get me in within ten minutes! The shop is small and cozy but not super crowded. I was seen by a very personable and sweet woman named Rose who greeted me with a smile right when I came in. I don't get my hair colored or done often but she made me feel comfortable. I also appreciated how she didn't pressure me into get my hair blown dry and styled and let me know it wasn't that much more if I did change my mind to get it styled. For my cut and shampoo it was only $30! Way better than $50 or more at other places.

I've been getting haircuts from Rose C. for years -- she is super friendly and does a great job with curly hair! My daughter recently had several inches cut off, and her curly bob turned out really cute!

I came to see Faye after a recommendation from a friend. After calling to book my appointment, I learned that each hair stylist operates independently under the same roof - all offering different prices. So when you call to schedule an appointment with someone particular, the stylist themselves will schedule you, not a front desk. My review is for Faye, the woman who cut my hair. As a new mom to an 11 month old, I was just needing a fresh new haircut. And we were taking family photos the next day so I inevitably waited until the last minute to try and find a new hairstylist. So I took to Facebook and polled my friends, she was recommended by 3 of them! Faye was able to fit me in to her busy schedule, and upon arrival greeted me as if I was a long time client. She had me sit to begin the appointment with a consultation - asked me what I was looking for etc, I showed her some photos and we got started. I just needed a basic wash, cut, blow dry - so she was able to get me in and out in about 35 minutes. It was the fastest I've ever had my hair done somewhere! We chatted during the appointment, and I learned she's been cutting hair here in BCS for over 25 years, so I was surprised I was able to even get an appointment with her! It sounded like she's very established with her clients and very much enjoys what she does. She charged me $30 as a first time client, and said after that it's $35. I was very happy with the price and had a wonderful experience. I left with a great haircut and I would recommend her to a friend.
