Being a former client for several years, and basically getting a good haircut every other week. (buzz cut). One morning in the summer, Mona the other hairdresser whispered in my ear, she raised the price from $15 to $20. Frankly I was pissed!! First and foremost, the owner Cecelia should have been the one to address the increase to me not her worker. No signs were posted giving her clients a heads up at least a month before that prices will increase on such and such date. I am 70 yr. old senior and $20 is totally ridiculous. ( called Cecilia and canceled ALL my future appointments. I found another hairdresser that does a GREAT BUZZ for $8. for seniors.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Mona cut my hair. It's horrible. She took about 8 minutes. Really worst haircut ever
I get my haircut here all the time when I visit family. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming! The salon is also kept very clean. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
If there is one profession that I would never want is a hair stylist. These people are basically hair cutters not miracle workers. I don't know the chance of making most people happy. Well my experience was very nice. I'm a senior citizen that is getting sparse on top. The young woman that cut my hair questioned my preferences and did a very nice job making sure I was satisfied. My appointment started right on schedule. I was then offered a senior discount of $15. I took out a debit card and they explained they prefer cash for the discounted price. I told them to charge me the regular price as I didn't have cash with me. They took my card and did give the discount asking me to please pay cash next time. They did this without hesitation. Being in retail myself for about 40 years I appreciate their business sense. They accept walk ins but I suggest an appointment.
Do NOT go here for a simple half up do. Im not from the area so I walked in & asked them if they did updos & they said they did. I had a very simple half up do with curls....that's it. How the hell do you mess that up?? My hair didn't have any volume in it & it looked like something a 12 year old would wear. My sister in law just wanted her hair down with curls & I had to fix her hair when we got back to our hotel. Worst part is on the cost was around $120 for both of our hair. I was so fed up that I paid & left.
