Carson & Co. Salon in Westminster, CO

This salon has an awful environment and awful management. The women are extremely cliquey, very rude and overall not "girls girls". I would take my business and money elsewhere.

For those that know me, you know that I am not typically someone who will bash others in the public eye. However I have a lot of friends and family that shop near the Orchard Town Center, and want to steer them away from this HORRIBLE SALON. I also have to express my absolutely disgust with the Carson & Co management for their complete and utter disregard for the health and well-being of not only their customers, but the hairstylist at Carson & Co.  I scheduled an appointment, but unfortunately became ill, with several of my coworkers recently testing positive for Covid, I opted to cancel, said appointment. I was charged the FULL AMOUNT ($300!!!) for my appointment all because I did not CALL more than 24 hours ahead of time. I attempted to contact management and explain why I had cancelled the appointment. After multiple attempts (emails, calls, messages) to reach the manager, I was finally told that I should have known more than 24 hours ahead of the appointment that I had Covid. The ridiculousness of that statement is just beyond absurd to me.  I understand the rationale behind charging a cancellation fee, and if the cancellation fee had been a reasonable amount, you guys would not be hearing from me.  ** Just a add note - there is only one worthwhile stylist within that salon so I would not waste your time, patience, or money on Carson & Co

Such a negative experience, tried to cancel on Sunday and Monday, for an appointment on Tuesday.  The text message only allows you to confirm the appointment, no option to reschedule or cancel.  I called multiple times and no one answered the phone, kept getting a message that said to enter your security code now.  I finally sent an email through the website as a new customer, explained that I needed to cancel and had been trying since Sunday (I was 20 minutes shy of the 24 hours).  Received a response back 5 minutes later (keep in mind this is now 25 minutes shy of the 24 hour rule) from the "Manager" who basically said, yeah, we're charging you the full amount.  I explained that my husband was in the hospital and I only needed a week or two until I could reschedule.  No response but a charge on my bank account first thing in the morning for the full appt.  My appointment wasn't until that afternoon and I explained I have screenshots of me calling in on Sunday and Monday prior to the 24 hours expiring and sending an email with 23 hours 40 minutes because I couldn't figure out how to get ahold of anyone.

I will file with the BBB, Federal Trade Commission, DORA and finally will let Colorado Office of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure know how they operate.  If this has happened to you, please reach out to me and I will forward how to get ahold of the agencies above.

Ive taken my husband my kids and myself here! They always do a great job they're so nice and they do great work! Totally trust them :)

Very bright and clean salon with competitive pricing. Recommend researching your stylist ahead of time but I had very positive experiences visiting this salon for color.
