Nice place, good haircut. I am simple dude who only requires simple haircut for reasonable price, yes? This is the place I go for that! Lady nice, speaks fancy words, gives expectational haircut. Other comrades pleased with haircut later, very good, yes. Go here, take walk ins, wait not too long. Very nice lobby, 5g reach phone and I see news stories while waiting. Very excellent.
Isn't there a current mask mandate for tri county??? Yet not one employee had a mask on even though several elderly were sitting in their chairs!
Since when are they above the tri county? last I looked a hair stylist is not a scientist! Out of courtesy and respect of your customers follow the damn rules!
Working away from home has its challenges and finding a place to cut your hair is one of them. While making a drop off to UPS I noticed the salon next door. They weren't busy so I popped in and hoped for the best. Lisa greeted me and got started by asking me what I needed. Not being fussy about my hair I gave her some guidelines but let her do her thing, she's the professional. She did not disappoint. My hair looks great and am very happy with my cut. My husband went in after me and got another great cut from Lisa.
Went there once. The haircut was not great. The wait was long. So I did not go back. Maybe in the future.
I just have to say, fast hair places like Fantastic Sams usually have a bad reputation or are seen as "not good enough" but let me tell you, this location shatters that preconceived notion.
I've not had a bad experience here and everyone is so nice, professional, not at all pushy, and just all around wonderful.
In particular I need to give a shout out to Sam. I randomly picked her months ago from a lineup of stylists in the scheduling app and am SO GLAD fate (or the booking algorithm, whatever) brought us together. I've had three hair cuts from her, all wonderful! Her blowouts are bougie salon quality and she's just a super nice human.
I went in today because I broke my ankle a few days ago and haven't been able to safely wash my hair and just needed a shampoo and blow out and she went above and beyond. She massaged my head for longer knowing I probably needed some comfort (she wasn't wrong) and then, she heard me say my surgery is tomorrow, so instead of only blowing out my hair, she threw em into two braids to make it easier to deal with during and post surgery. WHAT?! She didn't have to go above and beyond and she just did it because she's a great person.
As long as I live here, I'll be only going to Sam for all my hair needs. Girl is a lifesaver and really awesome at her job.
