Brenda is the best colorist and hair stylist. I've been coming to her for more than 10 years and she knows how to deal with my very fine straight hair. You should give her a call!

ReNu Hair Salon is a new business which opened when NuLook closed. Since I was a customer at NuLook for many years, I was anxious to try someone new. Brenda, however, put all my fears to rest and I have been thrilled with the results of my hair color and styling every time. The salon itself is small but creatively designed, with everything in its place and art pieces on the walls and for sale. Brenda recently increased her prices, but let me know two months in advance how much the new cost would be. I can highly recommend Brenda for all of your hair styling needs!

About a year ago, the salon changed to ReNu. They are still at 1059 Court St, but they are in a different suite. The decor is changed to industrial, artistic and is delightful to check out each time, because there are new art pieces and industrial pieces. Brenda is still there doing a fantastic job. Both my daughters go to her for cuts and color. We have been happy with her for years. She has a new partner, Lisa R, who has done my hair cuts and color very well for a year now. I highly recommend this business!

My daughter had an appointment with Brenda. I was told over the phone it would be $26 and with style it would $30. I've been to Brenda before and she knows what kind of hair I have. I told her over the phone that my daughter has the same kind thick hair. She said the price would be $30. After my daughter got the hair cut she told us it was going to be $53! Just hair cut and style. Instead of $30 it turned out to be $53! She just lost a customer. I used to tell others about her because I meet alot of people but I will not be doing that anymore. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO HER. It's not a high end salon where she should be charging $53 for a hair cut and straightening hair. If she wanted to charge more she should have told us when my daughter sat down on the chair. I paid her but will not recommend her to anyone.

I have been going to Brenda for at least 8 years (could that be??). She is terrific. I usually receive compliments about my hair after I see her. She gets my hair - kind of straight, kind of wavy, kind of smooth, kind of course...in other words, it's difficult. I travel from SF to see her! Plus she's super nice and affordable.
