First things first, the shop is adorable! I loved that it was nestled in the neighborhood behind the downtown area. If I lived locally, this would definitely be my go-to shop! I was desperate for a style for an event - I had tried to do my own and it was disastrous! I got a last minute appointment in and was grateful from the beginning. I was there a tad early and I believe it was the owner that brought me some water and was very friendly and welcoming. I was visiting out of town for an event, so I did feel a little out of my norm, and the ladies at the shop made me feel comfortable and welcomed! I had Kelsey for just a blowout and style and she KILLED it! Not only did she whip it out in like 30 minutes, but all night everyone asked who did my hair. If I'm ever back in that area, and in need of a style or even a cut, I will be back in Kelsey's seat! She was clearly very skilled and so personable. xo, a grateful customer
I moved to Ojai 3 years ago but continued to go back to LA for hair - color, cut, treatments, the works. But, when my long-time hairdresser left the area, on a friend's recommendation booked an appointment with Jen Keeler. Loved her, love the salon, really nice, chill vibe and everyone was really friendly. And the prices were very reasonable compared with LA!
