I wish I could leave 0 stars. If you have curly hair, please, look somewhere else and do your research. It was a decision to come here based on yelp reviews and kind of on a whim. My hairdresser gave me a terrible cut and honestly, I feel violated because I love my hair. They were kind enough to give me a full refund for my hack job, which was fair. I would pay double to have this cut undone. Maybe for other people it's a better experience.
I have been going here since about 2005 and love it. Nice place, everyone is friendly, and the haircuts are great! They are always getting training to keep up with the trends, etc.
When I first moved to Lancaster, I saw a waitress with a great haircut and asked her who did her hair. I found the stylist and went straight there. I've been visiting the same artist since. Blades is her expression of what a salon can be, should be. Well-trained, continuously-trained stylists with talent and an eye, top-notch products and training to use them, an up-to-date sense of what's in and what's coming, all wrapped in a calm atmosphere. Green tea and coffee, nail service, and an aesthetician are all available. My color and cut always look great, and every time I walk out of Blades I'm grateful for that waitress.
Love this salon! So clean and relaxing! So professional, I have seen the most amazing haircuts and haircolorings while I was getting my own done.The price is right , I highly recommend this salon and I come here all the way from Jersey because they do a phenomenal job. I'm always getting compliments on my hair.
