Great Clips in Lancaster, PA

I went in yesterday after waiting 6 weeks to let my hair grow out so that I could have a new style. The style was shown a picture of how I wanted the lengths. She destroyed my hair. When I got home and looked at how she chopped it I cried. I will never go back because of her. I've been a great customer since this salon opened. But, when you get an individual who just ignores and chops its time to look elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I went here and both got our cuts by Marie. She was very friendly and cut our hair quick, while still doing a great job. It was a little rushed, but they were quite busy when we went and since we both got good cuts still, I didn't mind. I have relatively long hair and she did a great job with my trim and layers. His hair also was cut well, it wasn't exactly what he wanted but it was still well done. Probably just a communication error on his end, he'll just be more specific about what he wants next time.

I am no longer going to use this salon. Recently, I attempted to use coupons for 2 grandkids cuts as I have always done in the past. I did not feel comfortable with the stylist's reaction or the manager's when I presented the coupons, but was embarrassed so I said nothing. We have always used coupons in the past with no problem! So, the next day I needed to get my hair cut and choose a different great clips to go to because of my experience the day before! This salon is app. 3 miles from Columbia ave.'s salon.I received the same quality haircut and great professionalism from the stylist and manager! With my $7.99 coupon and tip, I paid far less than the price of 1 cut at Columbia ave.! I must say that there are several great stylists at the Columbia ave. location who are friendly and professional! However, I won't be going back because of the experience I just had. I did receive 2 phone calls from the higher ups because I called the corporate office. The lady was understanding and listened but that won't help me in the future because I am not going back and I told her why. When 3 of us can get haircuts for considerably less money with a coupon and we get cuts every 3-4 weeks, then my choice is an easy one! I hope this helps someone else!

I went in for a very simple no frills haircut, paid $16 and left. When I got home and was ready to wash it, I saw my bangs on the right side have a huge chunk out of them. They were short and badly cut. I call the Great Clips on Columbia Ave. to complain and the manager, Diana says come in and I will fix it. I went in and she cut off ALL MY BANGS! I said what and she says you can be a pixie. I said I am 62 and don't want to be a damn pixie. I have a high forehead and I am ashamed. I got my money back and I said I guess its too much to ask for my tip back. The manager says the next time you come back ask for me. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Great Clips, no, I would call them Bad Clips. The only saving grace is my hair grows fast. Looks like a 3 year old gave themself a haircut.
