Bella Rio Salon in Lansing, MI

This place is awesome.....I got acquainted with Faith,I had just went somewhere 3 days prior and they totally messed my hair up.....in tears and hope I called on Saturday and Faith got me right in......worked miracles on what was left of my hair and made me look and feel good about my hair again,so with that being said, Faith is my go to gal..... She does a beautiful job..... Very professional....always does a great job, her color is awesome ...and she cuts the style you want......I highly recommend Bella Rio Salon, all the gals are awesome. Very comfortable place.

Megan does a wonderful job of cutting my short hair! Sometimes it's hard to find a stylist that knows how to do short hair well. Megan is great! I have gone to Douglas J for years and needed a change. I love the Old Town area and thought I would give Bella Rio a try. I am glad I did.

Cate is my girl! I have searched high and low for a stylist such as Cate and she is here at Bella Rio Salon. I have tried all kinds of salons, from Ann Arbor to West Bloomfield, I will drive to no avail to find a good stylist with a reasonable charge (I've paid anywhere from $40-$80/cut). Cate does a great job. The first haircut I got from her was pretty good. I told her what I wanted and she cut it just the way I asked. I liked it and was willing to give her another try. The second time, I let her cut my hair which ever way she thought best. This was the best choice. It's been 4 months since my last haircut and my hair is still keeping it's shape. I no longer work near Lansing but I'm willing to do the hour drive just to have Cate as my stylist. If it helps, I'm SUPER picky about my hair, I have Asian hair, and a love for sleek-slightly messy look with tons of volume.

Faith gave me a clean cut that I am happy with, but I think I caught her on a bad day. The energy was incredibly uncomfortable and I walked away feeling wrong and awkward... it felt like I wasn't taken seriously as a potential regular client. Sad. I think I'll give it one more shot thought because it's in my neighborhood, I like their level of expertise, and the salon is beautiful.

Michelle is AMAZING. Period. I hadn't gotten a haircut in months, and Michelle made it look awesome. I came to Bella Rio Salon with a stupid little folded up picture of a hairstyle that I had ripped out of a magazine, but basically no good idea of what I wanted, yet Michelle asked a ton of great questions to really figure me out, and make sure I walked away happy. She chose colors that matched my skin tone and took the time to explain to me the process that she would be using to do it. She even curled my hair at the end to make it look just like the pic I had brought in. Plus, she was SO easy to talk to for a couple hours. She really knows her stuff and dropped a ton of knowledge on me about hair products and build-up that I didn't even realize! I will definitely be back, and I'm even going to have her start doing my husband's hair. :-)
