Balaros Hair Salon in Tempe, AZ

This is about wig services only. She claimed it was bad/cheap hair but it wasn't. Her craftsmanship with the brush was great, however she didn't really think or treat it like a wig. She was very rough with the unit, then complained it sheds. I was too be getting balayage on a natural black. A black that I know will take bleach cuz I did the knots. Not perfectly but it was my first time. So the issue is she put the bleach but no heat. Everyone knows you need heat to activate the bleach. (I should have left then but I was so excited I just trusted her) so then she takes the wig off and tells me it's gonna be about an hour for her to dye and wash it. When I return she tells me the dye isn't taking and it didn't lighten as much as she thought. However she had put the dye all over the entire unit! Thus ruining the lace because it's now completely purple. I'm very light skinned almost white and this unit cannot be worn. Yes she damaged the hair then claimed it was the wig. After thinking about it, I'm really upset because I felt she should have tested a piece first, she shouldn't have put dye all overt it, and when she saw it wasn't really lightened she should have called me or again tested it before putting dye all over the entire unit. It probably would have been very pretty without the purple. She also demanded I pay her 100 out of the original 240 for the services, mind you she was supposed balayage and bond the unit. (none of this happened but she's a single mom so I have it to her anyways, after all it was mother's day eve) Speaking of which she thought that meant a little glue in the front and back SMH. A very expensive lesson learned. I'm now out 275$ for my wig I can't wear plus 100$ I paid her to ruin it; 375$ grand total. IDK about other hair services but keep your wigs safe and don't bring them to Baralos.

I have come here off an on for years. From short hair, to quick weaves, natural styles and now a blowout and it's solid. The stylists are seasoned. Renisha will make any head of hair feel beautiful because she is all hair care. Right now I'm loving Shatera's blowout. The vibe is family and both will get you in and out pretty quickly. I would love to have nails and brows here and I could just spend the afternoon. They have at times had both but I don't think either now. I have even walked in here with no appt and gotten a blowout. Call them. You'll be back for something...

This is a great place. You can get lashes, permanent eyeliner, weave, highlights all done in one place. I got microblading. FABULOUS!!! No waiting. I was treated like royalty. Reasonable pricing.

I had a business trip and chose this salon based on its proximity to my hotel. I didn't look at the reviews - just was a last minute selection to get a wash and blow out. Willetta was a wonderful surprise! I know I was not their typical local customer. (have naturally straight hair) I received the best shampoo I've ever had at any salon. Two thorough washes and time allowed for the cream rinse to soak in, and a very thorough blow out! I was very pleased. Feel the pricing is competitive. I would return!!

It was amazing. It was a last minute thing. It is my wedding today and Rose for it done on time and perfect. She did an amazing job. Thank you so much! I appreciate it. And it's an amazing place to get your hair done.
