B Beautiful Salon & Spa in Highland Park, IL

I purchased a Groupon for an Organic Body and Soul Spa massage- with no previous knowledge. As it turns out, it was a fabulous decision. The massage studio is situated in a very hip, pretty and interesting salon/ spa called "Be Beautiful." After filling out an basic info form, I was introduced to Val, the massage therapist, and went into a clean and nicely appointed room. Hands down, this was the best massage of my life. Val brings multiple modalities to the table, as it were, and instinctively finds the areas that need the most work. He's thoughtful and in tune with the client (me!) and communicated about what he was doing and why. My massage involved hot stones and reflexology, and honestly, if my almost always achy back could speak, it would also be singing Val's praises. I feel so much better, and will be going back. I highly recommend this place!

I go for facials here too - they are fantastic. At least one hour long and very informative. I have found the manager to be very pleasant. My first time there I had such a horrible cold and she was so understanding and HELPFUL to me - she even handled my dirty tissues. I find her to be terrific.

Do NOT waste your money and time coming here. I had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I've been looking for a spa to do my facials at and came across this place because it was close to my work. The receptionist was very rude and wouldn't answer any of my questions. Later I found out that lady was actually the manager there. If the manager was that rude and disrespectful to a customer I wonder how worse the other employees are over there. When I asked for the owners contact information she refused to give it to me and continued to be rude and even raise her voice at me and then completely ignored me. I would not recommend this place unless you like to be treated like dirt. I would rather pay more money for a spa that is more professional than them.
