M Salon in Highland Park, IL

I started going here about 4 months ago after having my hair messed up by a different salon. My girlfriend recommended Tracey. She is Superb! We connected right off the bat. She listens and gives options. Answers your questions honestly. Wants you to be totally happy when you leave. If you aren't 100% happy she will fix it. I am a red head which is a challenging color to work with but Tracey was up for the challenge with a smile on her face. Very professional with a great sense of humor. I found "My Gal"!!! I also am very picky so if she can make me happy she can do anyone!!

After having an appointment in the books for 2 weeks and knowing what I wanted done, I get to the salon and the stylist Tracy tells me to sit in her chair. I'm waiting for 15 minutes before she comes to tell me that she can't do anything for me. She claimed that an hour was not enough time to give me the highlights I wanted. Beyond unprofessional to have me sitting there & waiting just for her to come back and basically kick me out. This salon is not close to me and especially after knowing what I wanted done for weeks, she could have at least called to reschedule or let me know over the phone so I didn't have to make the trip. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional!

So I went in to do a color correction and my hair stylist did a wonderful job! Samantha is knowledgeable of the color correct and process and was able to accommodate me in such short notice! She saved my hair from a previous disaster . I will post before and after photos. I recommend the salon as well as Samantha!!

Vida and Alma are amazing for haircuts and styling! Really nice front desk girls. Enjoy being a client here :)

Good location, bad service my friend received a couple of treatments and both were bad, at first we thought that maybe they deserved a second chance but it was worse yet anyway In the end they lose a client and I will talk to anyone who knows about how they treated us
