Waited almost 2.5 hours, and finally left. Also paid $50 deposit which the stylist claimed was 'complimentary' because she put leave in conditioner in my hair. There are no words to describe the audacity. Meanwhile she was doing a family member's hair. Obviously this experience is beyond redemption. One star is way too generous.
Soo, Georgia girl in Maryland rocking a nappy fro in which I was looking for a quick change. Well I found a sista in Greenbelt Plaza Mall who know how to do my hair. I really don't want to share her because I'm selfish, but Taye was professional, well knowledgeable and comfortable with natural hair. Washed, colored, conditioned, cut and styled. Look forward to my nappy curl updo!
I will never step foot in this salon again. I can't speak for every stylist there but the girl who does the lashes has no clue what she's doing. If she's still there she shouldn't be. Lashes came off in less than a week and she was paid $130. Next person , I went in to inquire about my daughters hair and idk if the stylist was having a bad day but her tone just came off nasty. Her facial expressions everything just ugh. Unprofessional. Again will I ever step foot in there.
I will make this short and sweet - If you have a dedicated stylist at this salon and you are pleased with their work then by all means continue to go there. If you are calling in and having an untested stylist assigned to you - Beware! I had an appointment scheduled with Shekena and I will not be returning to this shop. She had me waiting two hours while she socialized and did a relative's hair. When she finally did mine, she tried to blame the finished results on the texture of my hair. I had to use my fingers to fix the back of my head, which she did not provide a mirror for me to see. Thankfully, I had my own. I don't know what she specializes in but she is totally unprofessional.
Took my son in for a haircut. Maria listened to what he wanted and went to cutting. He was very happy and looks more handsome than when he walked in. The price is definitely right for a kids cut. Will take him back to her again.
