Elegance Nails in Greenbelt, MD

I have been to this place years ago and it was not great at all. Customer service was ok but they were just blah. They did the job but wasn't good or great. Decided to try them again since I needed a quick and easy gel pedicure in pinch. I didn't even get to use them because they didn't even open as stated. Google and their signs says open at 10am on Sunday. I got there at 10:15am, no one. Waited until like 10:30-10:45 and nobody came to open. Called just to see if maybe I was off my game and no answer. Do not recommend this place at all.

Came here previously on a whim after a long day at work two weeks ago. I wanted to treat myself to a much needed spa pedicure. I didnt get the name of the woman that serviced me, but she was amazing! Five stars across the board. So here I am again today. Came in early at 10:45am. I already had my own nail color with me and there was no one but two workers in the salon. I asked for a spa pedicure once again. Was asked to pick a color, I told the women I had brought my own. I was lead to the chair while the same woman sat in front of me texting on her phone. She didn't clean the basin or put in a plastic liner as the woman did in my previous visit before. I proceeded to sit here with my feet in cold water- I had to ask her to refill it twice while she continued texting- with no product in it. I tell her I am pressed for time and can no longer do the spa pedicure, just a traditional pedi. It is 11:00am at this point. I have been sitting here watching her text for 15 minutes in an empty salon. I start to take my feet out of the water she finally adds product and says a few more minutes to soak. As she finishes here text, she asks me what color I want again and I say its next to your chair. To which she laughs and asks, you are doing a spa pedicure right? I say no, a traditional. She has just started doing my nails at 11:15. Ive never had to sit and wait for 30 minutes in an empty nail salon before to start a service. Will post an update when she is finished, but as of now I am 100% certain that I will NOT be returning here again

Went there only to get my eyebrows done. While she was doing my eyebrows so continuously double dipped the same appliance she used on my face into the wax. The next say my face broke out in hives. My skin was blotchy red and irritated only in the areas she waxed. The pictures are not from the next day. Honestly I was too embarrassed to take photos the day of because it was so bad. They've calmed down but still looks horrible. Not clean. ( See pictures below)

I got my nails done on Saturday evening. They made me wait and weren't very nice about it. Yesterday was Wednesday and by the end of my shift I could no longer stand of my right foot Bc my big toe hurt so much. I went to Urgent Care and they said it was very infected. The doctor had to cut half of my nail on my big toe off. Very painful! Gave me meds and saw the infection is going towards my foot and told me to keep an eye on it in case the infection spread more. Now I am off for the next two days thank god I have PTO, but seriously all this is not worth the $20 pedicure. Please do not go there!

This is the worst place to be. They act like they're giving you services for free,Very nonchalant and care free. They made me wait to get a manicure and a guy came in and they answered him immediately keeping me to wait because pedicure is faster. It was a complete waste of my time and I regret ever going there.
