425 Nail Bar & Pedi Lounge in Richmond, VA

Came here with my nails completely destroyed by another salon and Chris was absolutely amazing and brought my nails back to life. She listened to all my concerns without any judgment and was very compassionate. She was really gentle which was a bit of a surprise because I was used to being hurt and in pain at the salon. My favorite thing was she took her time and made sure everything was to my liking I didn't feel rushed at all. The salon was very clean and had a really nice vibe. I would definitely recommend!

The place is very clean, watch who you book with I had someone new,my white toes was a disaster.....when I first complained to the tech she ignored me...so I had to tell her again well she went over to the manager Keda and at first she never got up and the tech ask did i want to speak with her so I said yes she came and cleaned up my toenails and I was in rush BUT I had an appt, my appt was @9 but who will think a spa pedicure will be over 1 hrs and 30 mins??? Well before I left Keda put some oil on my toenails to help dry faster....I could barely walk without falling....a couple hours later I went to change my pants and the cloth from the pants went over my toenails and in the picture you will see what happen....$45.00 just wasted smh...the manager said white polish is hard ....I've never had white to look like this!

I love to write about restaurants, but it doesn't do me good if my feet aren't working correctly. 425 Nail Bar & Pedi Lounge to the rescue! It has been hard for me to find a salon that offers Diabetic foot care in the Tri-City area. When I had one, the waitlist to get a pedicure was months long. I am so happy that I found the 425 Nail Bar & Pedi Lounge. Listed below are the reasons that I am going to become a regular customer of the 425 Nail Bar & Pedi Lounge: 1. Mrs. Keta J. - She may be too modest to say, but she works for the Lord! I know my feet are torn-up-from-the-floor-up, yet she accepted me with kindness. 2. Did you know that when you get a pedicure, you sit on a throne? For the time that I was there, I had never felt so pampered. Mrs. Keta took the time to explain every detail of my foot care to me before she did them. She checked on me to see if I was going to experience any discomfort or pain. I never had that type of treatment before. 3. I told you about the throne, right? That is a big plus! 4. I felt like I had been a regular customer for many years during my time there. There was a good flow of engagement as if I was a family member. I don't know about others, but I love to be able to communicate effectively with others. 5. The shop is clean, and I love the decorum. COVID-19 protocols we in effect and enforced. 6. The prices are not n line with the services you receive. I was also afforded to opportunity to purchase products that would assist in the aftercare of my feet. 7. I love supporting Black businesses and are am recommending this place to all of my friends. 425 Nail Bar & Pedi Lounge is a professional business. Mrs. Keta J. had my feet praise dancing all the way home. When my wife tells me that I can sleep in the bed because I won't cut up the sheets now that my feet have been rescued, it means that the Lord has officially anointed the 425 Bar! Had the pleasure of being pampered today at 425, thanks to the recommendation of a friend. I appreciated the online booking process and filling out the client profile form - they actually read it & are super knowledgeable about which services you should consider and why. I love nail extensions and have been heavy with the acrylic + dip.. but when I noticed the Gel X extension option on their menu + did a little research, I decided to try this out. The owner, Keta, really took the time to listen to my goals (growing my natural nail) in a healthy way that wouldn't leave my nails so weak after. She described the process every step of the way and provided me with some insights on how we can achieve my goal. I originally went into the salon with a Pinterest design in mind but after hearing more about their services & really getting to know the artist, I let her freestyle this design. I told her I wanted something nude but different & she delivered! I also got a deluxe pedicure that felt amazing & they use this scrub and lotion that leaves a nice shimmer on your skin long after. My feet were left super soft but also, slippery. Lol like they were slick in my sandals! **The last note that I have to share is in regard to timing of services. When you book online there is an estimated time frame of how long it's going to take.. my appointment exceeded that by 1hr. I was there for 3 hrs from 11-2.......thankfully I was off of work but, deff need to be mindful in planning that of that in the future.

This place is great and I'm joining all the other Teresa stans on here! this was my first time here and it was a great experience, just good vibes all around at this place, the music and atmosphere were great, and Teresa was so knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I got a regular mani and it's been over a full week now and not a single chip! Same on the spa pedicure. I can't wait to go back, thank you!
