Zenizo Salons in Tucson, AZ

I've been trying to get in to see my old stylist at Zenizo Salon because she always did an awesome job on my hair. I had an appt made for right after my dad passed away Christmas night 2018 and when I called I spoke to Rose, who gave me a hard time about cancelling with short notice and joked about how someone probably wouldn't make up their dad dying to get out of an appointment. I refused to go back after that until this past fall. I had an appt which ended up being an hour after my dog suddenly passed away. I obviously had to cancel that. The next appt I scheduled happened to be right after I got bit multiple times by the new dog we adopted and we had to take her back to PACC. I actually went into the salon after being in the ER overnight so they would know I wasn't making things up. They were very nice and scheduled another appointment for me, there was a different lady at the front desk and a gentleman that helped me. The appt after that, they called and cancelled because my stylist was sick, Rose was the one who called and didn't offer to reschedule. Well, I made an appt for the 22nd and Rose just called to verify that I would be in because I have so many cancellations on my record and that if I came in then I would be charged double.... What?!?! So, as much as I love the stylist, there is no way I will be going back to this establishment.

Darrell Hanson is amazing! I've been going to him for over 10 years now. I have referred him to many of my clients and friends. He listens to what you say and does a wonderful cut and color! Don't hesitate...call Darrell!

This is it, the place to come for cut, color and/or style, Do it! You won't regret it & you will be happy. That's it, now on to living life!

Melissa at Zenizo is AMAZING!! I actually started going to see her almost 20 years ago and she just continues to amaze me. She has so much attention to detail and really listens to what I think I want and then makes my hair better than I thought possible. I didn't see her for a number of years because I've moved away, but after so many bad haircuts I went back to Melissa during a visit to Tucson. Thank goodness I went to see her because my hair has never been better. Now I have to figure out how to get back to Tucson more often!!

I went to Zenizo by recommendation of my mom, who has been going to get her hair done by Armando for years. He was booked, so I saw Melissa. I let her know that I had not been to a salon for almost 6 years because I was tired of being unable to find someone who could cut and style my naturally curly hair. She was so understanding of my fears and frustrations. Melissa talked me through everything she was doing and why she was doing it. My hair is still long and now looks good both curly and straight! She recommended what type of products I might want to use, without trying to sell me a product. I learned how to better style my own hair and plan to start going to see her on a regular basis to continue improving the cut! I have never been so happy with my hair!! Also, I was 15 minutes late because I was working out of town and she was very compassionate!
