Your Salon and Spa in Colorado Springs, CO

I have never truly experienced such a negative experience in a hair salon as I have with this one. I would call and text for 18 days before someone finally called me back. I then book a hair tinsel service with Niki Pringle - only for everyone one of them (13 strands) to fall out within 3 days. This service was $50 m. I've been getting hair tinsel from other cosmetologists in the Springs for 3 years and never have I encountered this issue. So I reach out to Niki and she messages me back apologizing and saying she would see if the tinsel was generic or recalled. She then asked for me to reschedule and come back in for having the tinsel reapplied. I responded to her message and she has now ghosted me and never has been in touch with me to reschedule. Truly a disappointment. Another client of yours has left you for your lack of professionalism. Not a good start to success that's for sure.

I moved to Colorado about 3 years ago and ever since I hadn't found a stylist who specializes in curly hair, especially African-American curly hair. However, I found Lilli on Instagram and I could tell by her photos and the way she described her clients, you could feel the passion she had for curly locs. I took a chance and got my hair trimmed and shaped. I love my hair, it finally doesn't have that weird triangle shape! Lilli was so sweet, knowledgeable, and most importantly she listened to exactly what I wanted and was so willing to give so much great info on how to care for my hair. I'm so happy to have finally found her!!

I have been going to Your Salon and Spa since it opened. I have been there literally hundreds of times as I get my hair colored every two weeks (my hair unfortunately grows very fast)and my hair cut/trimmed every six weeks. Although, it takes me almost 30 minutes to get there as I live in the Black Forest....I would never go anywhere else. I have always had a great experience. My hair always looks great and the prices are very reasonable.

Walked in one day, got very lucky and a gal was between clients so she gave me a quick haircut. I got a great cut and an appointment for the next time.

Do not go to Your Salon on Woodmen and I25, unless you are looking for an escape room experience! Cara will not listen to what you want. This place deserves a NEGATIVE rating! Cara charged me FULL PRICE for something I didn't even ask for the first time. -I asked for VIBRANT red hair and she sent me home with black hair with a hint of red.- She told me she would fix it without ever telling me I only had a week to come in, her perfect opportunity to tell me would have been when I told her that it would most likely be a month before I came in because I didn't want to damage my hair. I came in Saturday and she never told me that I was going to be charged ANYTHING for her to FIX MY HAIR! The only time we discussed a price was when she told me she does dreads for $60/hr. I gave her everything I had in my wallet and then she locked me in the store telling me that I could not leave until I gave her $360!!!!!! (What I found really strange was when I gave her her "tip" she asked me how much I was giving her, which a stylist has never done. Then after counting it proceeded to throw a fit telling me I was being disrespectful. Shouldn't she have known how much I was giving her if that had been discussed) I obviously didn't bring that with me thinking I was getting my hair fixed for free. I told her I'd be more than happy to give it to her in payments if she really feels her work deserves it but I didn't have it on me. I unlocked the door and got in my car and she proceeded to chase me down the road! This has brought up some PTSD and I can't even believe someone would do something like that especially after I offered to give it in payments. I asked to speak to the owner the next day and she wouldn't even take my calls, saying she would only talk to me over email and then backing up her staff. She is now threatening to sue me over defamation of character although all the facts are there. Now Cara is sending me messages adding, FLEE SATAN in all caps at the end, claiming she's praying for me and calling Satan out of me...I don't appreciate it to say the least.
