Your Natural Image Salon in Kansas City, MO

I've been getting my locs retighten by LaShaun for several months now. She and her staff are wonderful. LaShauan does a great job and she is fast. The salon is clean and welcoming. I look forward to trying other services in the future.

Very poor customer service.

In the beginning I told the hairstylist I live 2 hours away. There was a chance for inclement weather and the beautician did not see the need to call me and let me know that shop would be closed.

So I wasted time coming down, a hotel room for coming the night before to beat the potential weather for nothing. I would never imagine that if you are going to close your shop that you would not call your clients and let them know. How hard is that?!

On top of that, the last time I went Monique half washed my starter locs and retwisted my locs with dandruff everywhere. I had to sit in the car and pick visibly noticeable dandruff out of my hair. Which was a task due to whatever sticky junk she put in my hair.

One top of that I left a message on the phone and sent a message through messenger which they have not bothered to return.

SIMPLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

They should be ashamed of themselves and I am highly disappointed.

So if you want to be treated like a number then Your Natural Image is the place to go.

However, there are to many other salons in the area to bother with this one. Save yourself the trouble and go with one of them instead.

Best salon experience I've had in years. Golden corrected a bad dye job done somewhere else and hooked my locs up. She's knowledgeable and patiently explained the answers to every question I had. Everyone is extremely friendly in this laid-back, yet professional environment. Appointment setting on their website was easy. I also loved that they didn't stack up customers. I got in and out. Can't wait to go back.

I have been here 4 times. First two times for natural hair services and last two for extensions. I went in for a 360 frontal install. Wasn't done correctly the first time, no problem.  Went back in to redone. Still wasn't done correctly. Went back to get a refund, the owner insisted I get in redone, but at that point I was already frustrated and the frontal had been cut too much. After much debate, eventually she agreed to a full refund. Some time has passed. Unfortunately, I only recieved a partial refund. It makes me sad to write this review.

I absolutely love this salon! LaShaun is awwsome and fast with the sisterlocs. I personally have regular locs but watching her you can tell she comes to slay!! I love that after getting my hair washed they massage your scalp! Ooooowwweeee this always does me in! Theu also believe in ACV so all around this is a place of healing. You come in looking huet and leave looking like Beyonce's twin natural sister. While you are there try a massage and get your nails done, you won't regret it. Now only bad thing about them being so good, they rarely have openings. You must book ahead sometime 2 months in advance. So sometimes I might have to use my stand-by stylist.
