Love Isi!  I have no words to describe the great service and experience.  I've found my forever place.

Service is wonderful (a bit overpriced for my needs) but please review ingredients in hair products made specifically for this salon. I have natural blonde hair which is fine. I lost A LOT of hair from using their You Beauty purple shampoo. The industry needs to do better - rather than caring about the shelf life of their products while the customer suffers terrible hair loss. I did not leave the product on long nor did I use it very frequently. 1/2 the bottle remained after using during a 2 year period. Thank goodness it wasn't permanent as it's finally coming back after discontinued use over the current summer months. I'm back to restricting my use to more natural products without the harm chemicals.

Excellent first impression! I've been trying to grow my hair out for some time now from an undercut I've worn for years, gotten through a lot of the worst stages and kind of at the home stretch now with getting everything evened out and on track for some real hair growth past my shoulders. I came in not really sure what I wanted to do with my hair, just knew how it's grown out so far was looking really funky and driving me crazy again but I didn't want a lot of length off.
Isi was my stylist - he went through the consultation, he was very thorough, set up a plan for what I should expect for the following months, and helped me visualize what my hair would be like once we shape it up. He also recommended some products I'm excited to try on my own and in the end perfectly executed the cut just like he described - and the best part is I got to keep my length! Love the layers and new bounciness to my hair  will absolutely be returning!

5 1/2 hours to get a set of lashes done for $120 is ridiculous. 20% of the lashes started falling off 2 hours after and about 35% by the next day.
They said they would make it right with their expert, she did a good job, but then charged $110 for the service to be redone. Paid $240 plus a tip for a horrible service. Will NOT be coming back here nor will ever recommend it to anybody.

I could not possibly say enough positive things to convey how awesome  this salon is.

We had You Beauty do our whole wedding party's hair and makeup for our wedding. I emailed them relatively late in the process (only one month's notice) because we were new wedding planners and, quite frankly, had no idea what we were doing- lol.

Autumn (the salon coordinator) promptly- same day- emailed me back and confirmed their availability for our big day. Their prices were super reasonable for full hair + makeup for Brides and Bridesmaids, and even had the option for our bridesmaids to get hair OR makeup done, with a price adjustment included.

The day of our wedding, they had a great system set up for doing our hair + makeup, and got all 7 of us (2 brides, and 5 bridesmaids) in and out of there *ahead of schedule*. We were in at 8 am, and out by 11:30a (we needed to be done by noon). Everyone's hair and makeup looked fantastic- everyone was super satisfied  with their looks and commented how well organized the whole process was.

Phoebe did everyone's hair and...damn. That girl is talented. 10/10. Allie was our makeup artist and again, 10/10. They executed everyone's looks exactly as they wanted with great efficiency.

If you're looking for a place in AK to get your wedding hair/makeup done....THIS IS IT. I'll add photos to this review when they're available from our photographer.
