Came to Gtown 2 years ago. Tried SEVERAL Nail Salons in the area. NONE of them knew how to deal with nails that lift and each one of them shockingly unprofessional. Yen Nails and Spa hands down are the most customer oriented, professionals charging fair prices in the entire area. Cody does my nails and Tammy does my pedicures. They are perfectionists that care about their quality of work and clients. Grateful to have finally found them, believe me. The whole team of Techs there are phenomenal!
Excellent mani-pedi. Got me in at the last minute on a Saturday with no wait. The manicurist spoke excellent English and gave me good advice for my weak nails. I would definitely recommend them.
The place itself was nice and clean w a friendly manager that welcomed me when I arrived. My biggest issue is with the nail tech named Diane. Started out fine. We made small talk and later when I asked her to change the nail color on one nail on each hand (for reference, I had all the same color minus one nail on each hand that was a different color), her demeanor changed. She was short with me and condescending when I would ask a question. She also told me to relax my hand even though I've never heard that request from any nail tech before and I've been getting my nails done for years. She did change the color for me but not without issue..the rest of the appt, she proceeds to burn each nail bed w the drill and then nicked my skin on several places. I left the place w very red skin around each nail bed. I think the place itself was fine but my recommendation would be to find another nail tech if you decide to go here. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least. I gave one star since the place itself was clean.
It's good to enter in a business knowing that you will be serviced on time. The nail salon is clean and quite relaxing , spacious. The employees and their manager are courteous. and honest. I choose to do dip nails and they are intact for 3+ weeks. Once I broke one while gardening and I went back to get it fixed, they did it right away. service is of excellence. almost 2 years going there and I will continue to come.
I went there a few months ago and I will never come back. First question I was asked if I had an appt. I said no and I asked for Yen since that is the name I was seeing in most reviews and they looked at me and laugh. First red flag. The lady who was doing my nails would not stop telling me to relax my hands. She was rude as well as the gentleman who seems to be the owner. All them start laughing at my daughter when she asked for an ocean design on her nails. Stay away from this place
