The facts are, the salon owner doesn't care about you. They don't care if you are happy with your service. They don't care if you feel good about yourself when you leave. Hair is a care industry. Some people consider haircuts to be traumatizing. The truth is, this salon just wants your money. Makes sense, its a business. But unfortunately for the owner, they are in the wrong business. Why do you feel so comfortable asking people to give you their money in return for incredibly lack luster service? People, we have a swindler on our hands here. Please, the only way consumers can make a difference in the world of buying and selling is to be wise with where and what you consume. Find someone that cares about you as a client at least 10%. This is your hair. This is the image you have of yourself and what you look into the mirror at every morning. Don't let someone use and take advantage of this part of yourself so carelessly for money. I went to this place for two years because its the closest to me and im not high maintenance in the slightest with my hair. Ive got straight brown hair, pretty simple. The first time I ever heard from the owner was when I finally stood up for myself and said something. Its hurtful. I dont need to be pen pals with this lady, but wow nice to meet you after two years. Go somewhere else please for the sake of your hair and your dignity. You deserve to have your salon care at least slightly about how their service made you feel. And lets be real, right? Most people dont complain, they just stop purchasing your product. I'm here to help others Symmetry hair salon in Annapolis is awesome. You get your own private room for your wash and style. Just you and your stylist and I've never waited, or been asked to leave with half of my service done although I've been charged fully. And note this, the proof is in the responses from the owners. If they come off as anything but apologetic or truly just trying to get to the bottom of your issue, they dont care about your issue, they care about your issue being public. Go somewhere else. Symmetry was the same price but much MUCH better service truly. This ones for the girls who never speak up, and constantly let people walk all over and take advantage of them. Excellent treatment in this clean and wonderful setting. My stylist, Gabi, was very professional as well as a gifted stylist. I am new to Maryland and their entire staff made me feel welcomed.

I am new to this area. I search salon that close to where I live and there it is, Xtreme Hair. I called in the am to ask if there's a walk in and the nice lady in the front desk told me there's an opening for haircut. So, Megan did my hair, it was fabulous. I asked her to trim my unhealthy ends and make it nice and layered. Mind you, I have not cut my hair for a year. She did my bangs and my back layered evenly. I am so happy with the result. From my experience,not everyone can blow dry my hair due to my thickness and coarse hair. If that person can blow out my hair, then she's skilled. I received a lot of compliment from my coworkers. I worked at night shift in ICU. On that night, after 2 round of chest compressions, my blow out is still intact. Fabulous. Go to Megan, she's a woman with skilled. Totally recommend and definitely will go back for my next appt. Oh and the salon is clean and tidy.

I arrived at 12:30 to get a consultation, fantasy peekaboo color, and a haircut, I left 3 hours later with some of my hair the wrong shade of pink, some of it still bleach blonde, and no haircut. They booked someone else for a haircut while my pink processed, and that haircut took so long they couldn't finish my hair by the time I needed to leave. I was promised that everything would be done in the 3 hours I was booked for, and reassured during the service that this was still the case, until the 3 hours were up. Then I was rinsed by someone, and told to have a nice day. I still had the towel on my head. They had to rush me to a chair to brush my hair, which was still soaking wet, and then when I got to the counter to pay and make a follow up appointment for the haircut they missed, the lady took my payment, then told me to wait while she told another employee that her client was there, instead of making my appt and then telling them. Once again I was not a priority. When I got home and was able to take pictures of my hair and see it in a mirror (because they didn't even spare me the time to show me how it looked and ask if I liked it), I saw that they missed several spots, and the shade was completely off what I had shown the person 3 times. She took a picture of it on her own phone for reference and she still got the color completely wrong. I was also told it would take 45 minutes for my hair cut....I have shoulder length hair, and I wanted a straight chin length bob, which would mean 2 inches off the back to straighten it all out and some layer adjustments. I don't see how that would take 45 minutes, but then again I don't understand how it took 3 hours to bleach and then poorly color half of my hair. I had been candid on the phone when I made my appointment about how the ends of my hair were box dyed a year ago, and if they needed longer for my hair they should have told me so I could make arrangements. The rest of my hair is virgin! It had only been about 2 inches when I dyed it last year since I had grown it out from a shaved style. I could have done a better job at home, as I have in the past, but I wanted to treat myself, and instead of having a positive experience I had a supremely negative one. I have attached three pictures - one with the color I wanted, circled in yellow, and two with what I got.
