I've been going to Lissy at Xiphium since I moved to KC and she has been absolutely AMAZING!! She has helped me so much in achieving my hair goals, I wouldn't trust anyone else at this point. She always helps to give me recommendations when I'm not sure what I should do and always delivers on my requests. We work in botanical treatments between my balayages and my hair has never been healthier than it is now! She is amazing and so is the salon. Such a great atmosphere and ALL of the staff that I've interacted with have been SO KIND and happy to help. (Attached: two pictures of different balayages I got from Lissy)
Went in and got a bad haircut from a stylist . I had to come back for the owner to fix. The owner obviously doesn't know about cutting different textured hair. I have fine, but strong hair. She cut every piece so blunt that nothing flowed with the haircut. It was choppy and square. I had to find yet another place to fix it. If you're going to charge premium prices, you should at least know the basics of dealing with different hair textures. I won't be back.
Stopped in and was able to set up an appointment for a cut the next day. The owner is a doll and they are an Aveda salon, which is wonderful!
I especially appreciated that they were still wearing masks and required clients to as well. Safety first!
Bonus: scalp massage (although would have loved it to be a bit longer, was about a minute) and they include the tip in the price of the service so there isn't an additional cost for that. I thought it was a wonderful cut and style all for $40!
Amazing salon, great atmosphere, relaxing, quality products, wonderful customer service and professionalism. The prices are are not as high as some of the other high end salons in the area, and they have a 'no tipping' policy. Jordan colored and cut my hair beautifully.
