Wynnie nails in Las Vegas, NV

To start off I took a lot of time researching many nail salons before going in to get my full set after not having nails for years. I found this spot based off of reviews pictures and price. Once I was finally able to make an appointment after calling for 3 days with no answer, I was told that they were under going a remodel and that's why they didn't answer. Ok fair enough.
I made my apt with Winnie based off pictures I saw of her work on yelp but they weren't up very long. When I arrived I was 5 mins late, and Winnie was in the middle of doing someone else's nails. I had someone else prep my nails and glue on my tips. Two of which were glued on crooked and I asked him to fix them, he said when she files them down she can fix them. If you start out with something crooked your going to have a hard time making it straight, but hey I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said ok like an idiot.
Once I was finally able to "start my apt with Winnie" it went pretty typical, she asked what I was looking to get, the length and shape etc. I told her I wanted full set of acrylics narrow shape with gel polish and design. She then told me that I should not get acrylic and I should get all gel cause it's better for your nails. She said acrylic sets START OUT at $65 then gel polish is extra and design as well. Um what? I told her the website says starts at $45 for full gel acrylic set, I showed her the website on my phone with their prices.
Then she tells me that they are under new management and their prices have changed and they haven't updated the website yet. The sign in the shop had stickers put over the old prices. She told me she would ONLY charge me $70 to get what I wanted. I said ok and showed her what I was looking for. She said no problem. She took her time and made sure I was happy with everything, that was very refreshing. She made conversation and was very nice! Her designs are absolutely amazing, and all free hand. Over all I was very pleased with my finished product.
My pedicure was done by the man who was there ( I didn't catch his name) it was ok. I let him know it had been a long time since my last pedicure and that I had a lot of rough skin and callus on my heels. Assuming he would use the micro plane or callus remover tool to make sure he got it all off, but he did not all he used was the rough pumice stone thing, which did not get all the dead skin off. I did have cracking though so maybe he was afraid to hurt me ‍. I cut my toe nails short so he didn't have to do much with my toes aside from cut the cuticles and dead skin. I'm not super impressed with the polish on my toes especially since the color doesn't match my pink on my nails, but that was my mistake for not letting them know it did not match.
I was there for 3.5 hrs getting my nails done. Got there at 3:05 and was leaving at 6:35. Was just the two of them there doing all the appointments. They also don't have their card machine set up (which they also don't tell you) I over heard her tell another client that when I was getting my pedicure, luckily I had enough cash on me.
I gave 3 stars just because of the price changes and the miscommunication and putting clients on the spot for the services. My nails are beautiful and I have already gotten compliments but not sure how I feel about the sales tactics and raising the price of acrylics so much that it's the same as liquid gel so people get the liquid gel, that just doesn't seem right to me.

Susan is amazing and caring she did a full set for me a pedicure and my eyelashes which all came out excellent! She takes her time and truly cares for her clients and her work Best place in Las Vegas I will continue to go here for Susan and her amazing work and making me feel like family if your in the area come by #1

I swore that I would never get my nails done again!  It's been 4 years since I has my acrylic nails taken off. Yesterday, my third nail broke and it hurt. I found this business and called the owner. She suggested that I get gel tips and a gel manicure to help protect my nails. She did an amazing job and fully took care of me!!!!

I wish I lived in Vegas now

The past months I've been searching for a salon with cleaner ingredients, this is a great a find! My day off I booked an appointment with Susan who owns the salon. I was debating on a few different options, which she gave suggestions based on my preference. She was thorough to make certain I left happy. Additionally the ambiance is relaxing and doesn't smell!!!  I can't wait to go back for winter nails!
