If you follow me, you will see that I recently had a horrible experience at Noir nail salon last week. Teddy at Wynn revived my nails. Even though they were severely damaged from the poorly done nails. I was unsure about colors being dip powder is always different than you think. So she took the time to test out two colors so I could make a choice I was happy with. We spoke the entire time and it was such a wonderful experience. I am actually so excited to go back. Thank you Teddy!!
Wife just got home getting manicure and pedicure. She's been here many times before. This time she came home with 6 cuticles bleeding. I realize this is a first world problem, but just passing it on. Typically they do a good job..... she says. Typically I say, "just let me paint them for free." I wouldn't have cut more than 4 cuticles........... probably.
I have been going to this nail salon for years. I missed a year during covid, but have returned! One of my favorite techs is kitty. She is so sweet, and she takes her time doing your service. I always try to make sure I make an appt to see her.
I don't usually leave negative comments, as this doesn't make a business look good, BUT, this salon is something else and people need to know about it and AVOID IT. The customer service in this salon is absolutely atrocious. They don't give a crap about customers, only about money. I am a returning customer and made an appointment ahead of time, but arrived 5 minutes late. The tech already took a walk-in, without even giving a courtesy call to make sure I'm still coming. After telling her this is not how you treat a returning customer she sent me to her nasty manager. She hardly spoke English, waived her hands and said I can reschedule to a later time/date. From my previous times at that salon, I saw appointments constantly being double booked and customers waiting all the time. This place is absolutely nasty. If they cared about keeping their customers they would learn how to do a better job. Also, their techs are subpar, to say the least. Most of them can't replicate a simple design from a picture. And they always rush to get to the next customer. It's absolutely infuriating. Definitely look for another salon. This place is not worth anyone's time or money.
Edited to add: After speaking the the owner, they have made it clear that their workers, should they not like the working environment, can go work at one of the many salons in town! They believe humiliation and verbal abuse is ok to ensure their workers have a high standard of work.
Don't come here! This is your warning. I almost never advocate in a poor manner but this time I have no other choice.
There are some really attentive and sweet techs that work here that need to go to a different salon.
The shop manager here badgers, embarrasses, rushes, humiliates and verbally abuses the techs here. I can't imagine the anxiety these techs must have knowing they need a job.
I could not even enjoy my services because the entire time the shop manager was scolding and rushing my tech. Relentless. She was literally right over my bench that was adjoined by another guest.
My tech did a fabulous job and took her time with my nail beds but I'd never come back here knowing I'm supporting such horrible working conditions.
They also do not sanitize cuticle trimmers after each guest. They simply wipe them off and put them back in their drawers.
Verbal abuse is never ok. Not in any language!
