Wood Ranch Hair Salon & Spa in Simi Valley, CA

Way too expensive for my service. Hairstylist Pam didn't listen to what I wanted. Cut off way too much hair then I wanted. My highlights were ok but she didn't fix my color correctly. She was to preoccupied talking with her friend and on the phone. Then she didn't thoroughly wash out my hair. The next day I had to rewash my hair and fix my layers!! I was surprised because my experience with her was awesome for the past year or so especially with my haircut. Sad to say I won't be back there anymore!

Would rate 0 stars if I could. My blonde hair came out quite orange and was dyed very uneven. Looked mediocre down in a middle part and absolutely terrible in any other hairstyle. My hair is so damaged from being over processed it is stringy when I shower and has broken off so much. I have been getting my hair highlighted for two years and I've never had it turn out this horrible/ damaged. It is very overpriced for the quality of service you are given. I had to pay even more money for someone to fix it the next day and they had to take pictures of all the problems areas around my hair that needed to be addressed and fixed after getting my hair done at the Wood Ranch Salon. I had jagged, uneven lines of partially bleached/orange hair all over my head. When I finished my appointment it looked like my hair had already been grown out for 2 months. When asking the stylist to apply the bleach alittle closer to my scalp she said it would not be seen because it was under. The bleach was being applied an inch away from my scalp! When she was brushing my hair after it has been washed she was forcefully pulling the brush through my hair, ripping and breaking off so many pieces not being gentle at all. Very poor customer service and does not listen to her clients. When my mom reached out to her and told her how unhappy we were with our hair because of how damaged it had became and how uneven and orange both of ours looked, and even provided pictures of what we were talking about, she said that I was smiling in the picture she took of me at her salon so I couldn't be unhappy about my hair. I never leave awful reviews and I am not one to complain but my hair is ruined. The second I left the salon I bursted into tears and it took a lot for my mom to contact this salon, but that's how bad our hair was. Overall this salon is super unprofessional and very rude to their customers. They do multiple people at once and it seems like they do not value their customers time because of how rushed everything is. I would never recommend this salon to anyone.

This place is too expensive Love the cut and color gave 4 stars though because of the price for a first timer. Over all I loved the service and the result.

I went in as a brunette and after reluctantly wanting to be colored as a brunette again with problems of covering up some gray Pam recommended I try to go blonde. I had thought about it in the past however past experience was it would take 4-5 visits ($$$) to become blonde. So I told her let's go for it. I am super happy with the results after one visit and I have gotten over a dozen compliments in the past 3 days. I cannot thank her enough.
