Favorite salon in Amarillo! Rachel has done an incredible job on my hair color + the most amazing hand tied extensions (I've never had extensions and my experience with them has been stress free). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality salon, with an added bonus of a chic and fun vibe!

Here's what happened to me...I called them to learn about their experience with extensions. They represented themselves as premier specialists- their words about themselves. So I made an appointment, that will cost you $25 plus tip for a consultation. That's when you learn their weaves cost $2000-4000 dollars. Then they tell you they have to order your hair, it will take 3 weeks, and you must pay a non refundable deposit of $1000. They imply it's for hair but it's not, it's for the appointment and they keep it and the hair if you cancel. During my $25 consultation the specialist told me she didn't know how to remove the keratin extensions I was wearing. She said she'd figure it out. That should have been a red flag, but loosing hair for women makes us extremely vulnerable to anyone who wants to take advantage. 2 days before my appointment they email me 2 forms I must sign letting me know they will never ever give any type of refund or make allowances of any kind for any reason. Also I must never be late to an appointment or there will be a fee. If I am 15 minutes late I must pay for the appointment in full and reschedule, and pay again for the next appointment. I must agree to use the products they recommend and stipulate that I know where they're hair comes from and I must follow every instruction they give me to wear and care for their hair extensions. Such as sleeping with the extensions braided and covered, just to name one! I must sign a form stating that I KNOW that they only use the NBR METHOD. ( you'll need to research that before agreeing to it). I'm immediately outraged by this narcissism, and let them know how I feel about their forms when I arrived. But, they have my $1000 and won't give it back nor will they install the extensions if I don't sign. There's nothing I can do, so I give them a chance. At your first appointment they will require you to book out several months of appointments for every 3 weeks to "keep" your extensions looking good-at $300-$600 each appointment. It's on the forms they make you sign. While there I learn that the stylist that's supposed to be my "specialist " has only gone to a local hair school and been practicing for only 2 years. My heart stopped! I know what the local hair schools teach and produce. She couldn't get my hair the color silver she had promised so it was a drab grey. So to make it look better she added a few strips of blue and pink. I had to go back in a couple days because the extensions weren't blending with my hair. They suggested another row -an extra $130 + tip. The owner also cut my hair to try to make the extensions look right. Leaving a big hole in the back of my hair, loosing length I had paid extra for. 22" extensions are $3000. The extensions immediately started ripping out my own hair and ratting big tangles. 1 week later I'm asking them to fix it, they said they don't know how. I went back 3-4 times within ten days to get the extensions to look right, they never did and I lost a lot of my own hair as they tangled up. I went into this salon looking nice, just needing my extensions reinstalled, I left there looking terrible. The pictures speak for themselves. By this time they are being rude and snotty to me via text, which I kept. I asked them to remove the extensions the owner did and sent me out of the salon with jagged ripped up hair, no style, no apology, no accountability, no offer of compensation, just as their forms said. I spent over $4000 and got ruined hair- cut, broken, bad bleaching. I had to go back to Houston to get it repaired. If this happens to you, and you pay with a credit card you may have some recourse. Every one that came into the salon in Houston where I had to go that heard my story told me to contact my credit card company. I thought about it and did, and they got my money back telling that salon that they defrauded me, because they did. NBR Method is an $1000 online course promising a 6 figure income and this salon owner's name is right there bragging about how many thousands of dollars she makes off the method.

Im not one to write bad reviews, but this was bad. I'm new to the area and was trying to get set up with a salon. It was easy to make an appointment for a consultation online so I did. I get there a few minutes before my appointment and checked in with the front desk. I was told I would be attended in a few minutes. I sat down...15 minutes pass, nothing. Staff members would sit at front desk seemingly bored then go to the back and be on their phone. Other staff would walk past front desk and just look at me and not ask if I had been helped, what I was waiting for, nothing. I felt like a weirdo just sitting there being stared at. 30 minutes pass, no one has said a word to me since I sat down. After 35 minutes I walked out. This salon clearly does not value your time, would not trust them to do your hair, will never be back. To give you a time frame: got there at 12:27. Appointment was at 12:30. Left at 1:05.

I wish it was less than one star options. This place is an absolute disaster. The staff don't know what they're doing and when you ask them this is not the style I want, they give you attitude. Although I communicated with them that I will bring my own extension for them to apply it, first they denied the communication and when I showed them the text, they were like, ok but your extension is not prepared. Seriously!! Their manager or whoever she was, was very rude and disrespectful. She wasn't working that day but she came half way trough the day and started creating stress for everyone. After 2 hours of work on my sister's hair, they create a disaster on her hair. She wanted her hair to be curly and that's what they did. The second picture is what we did at home on her hair to make it more decent. You're the judge!

Got my hair done by Rachael. Told her I wanted a full head of bright blonde highlights. When I left my session I still had significant roots & confronted her about it. She brought me back in to fix it & said she was going to put in more highlights around my face & hair line. She ended totally bleaching my scalp. I'm a natural blonde & was already very bright blonde so painting on bleach was absolutely not necessary & not at all what I asked for. She did it at the bowl so I didn't know that's what she was doing. My hair is white & orange. I'm devastated.
