Vizions hair salon has always been my go to salon!Yolanda, was my hairstylist when I was in college...waaaaay back in the late 90's & since moving to several different states, over the years, I find myself coming back to Vizions to get the hair care I truly need!!! I cannot express enough how important it is to have a stylist who knows your head & Yolanda is that hairstylist for me.
I'm home this time of year every year & all I have to do is call to set up an appointment & I am almost guaranteed a slot. I appreciate the accommodations made, friendly service, affordable pricing, & quality hair care/styling! I like that I don't have to say what I want done. I'm asked questions about how I'd like my hair styled & If I need maintenance like a trim or rinse I receive it.

I have been in great hands no matter who I book with at this salon. Yolanda is great & so is Devoria. When they shampoo and wash my hair I swear I melt! They are professional on all levels. The salon is clean and has a good vibe.
Went to visions this evening for a relaxer. My appointment was at five and I didn't leave the salon until almost 8:15. My stylist was majorly overbooked. I also bought a groupon deal for the salon that didn't specify a stylist and then was told I couldn't use it. So I paid for the hairstyle twice. It was too loud in the salon. My hair turned out great but all the issues made it an unpleasant experience
I just moved to the area and some of the ladies in my running group recommended Vizions. I am definitely a fan - great shampoo staff, ON TIME, in and out service, online scheduling, and most importantly - high quality work. I have only gone to Carletha, but I haven't see a bad style walk out of the door yet.
The only reason I took away a star is because it can get loud (not a super relaxing ambiance) - the shampoo staff are usually having cross-salon discussions about the soap opera that is on at the time. That kind be a little disturbing to the peace, but it's not a deal breaker!
Just moved away from Nashville and I really miss Vizions! When I first met Lori my natural hair was very damaged and difficult to manage even for other very experienced stylists at various other salons across the country that specialize in natural African American hair. Three years later, my hair is the healthiest its been in years AND it always looks amazing when I leave the salon. I get compliments from friends, family, and even strangers on how healthy my hair looks. I have referred multiple friends to Vizions who were happy with their experiences as well.
