VIP NAILS SALON & SPA in Galesburg, IL

don't go there. i was greeted and asked what I wanted I informed them a mani and pedi. he said ok 15 minutes but then told me to go to pedi chair. finishing pedi when I reminded him of my manicure. he must of told the manager of my upcoming manicure and they all started talking of course I had no idea what they were talking about. the man was mad and he informed me they can't do my manicure. so rude. I will not go back. galesburg has many much better nail salons

I've only been here a handful of times over the past couple of years, but a couple months ago I decided to try gel nails. I've been going every couple weeks now. I usually receive good service, but I did have one week where an older woman did my nails, and I wasn't thrilled. I thought she filed my nails unevenly. The last time I was there, one guy started to remove my gel polish...then asked me to move over a chair, and he started with a new client. I waited over 15 minutes before another guy came to finish my manicure. I didn't say anything because I was wanting to see why they made me wait, how they handled my lengthy wait, etc. I m guessing an appointment came in, and they bumped me for her. Fortunately I was able to wait it out. But I - and most others - don't appreciate being pushed aside; it's poor service to start with a client if you know you have another coming in shortly. I guess I'll see if I have any more service issues and need to look elsewhere. As for the manicure itself, everyone has done a beautiful job (excluding what I noted above). I usually ask for a leopard print mail on each hand, and it always looks great!

I made an appointment and I sat in there for over an hour, there was low staff. It was the worst service ever, my nails looked awful after. And they told me a wrong price when I called. Also you could not understand them. I would never go there again and do not recommend it.

The service was great and the nail technician did a wonderful job. Although, they had posted throughout the building masks were required they did not enforce it. I was sat down in pedicure chair with two people on both sides of me and none of them had masks on. They easily could of spread us apart more as only one person on the other side. It takes us all to do our part to stay safe and I wish these individuals on both sides of me would of been more conscientious as it made me feel uncomfortable being so close and them not wearing a mask.

Had pedicure and manicure today ,yes they are open by appointment only Very very impressed by this large salon, the friendly staff and a great pedicure and manicure. After 4 months my toes were not pretty
