Vip Nails in Joplin, MO

First off I am not one to complain BUT, durning our mother daughter day we decided to visit VIP nails. We got mani/pedis. Pedi was good. Nails NOT EVEN CLOSE! We go to Joplin very often, but of course they did not know this. We told one of the customers that we live in Branson. Three of their regular customers came in so they rushed us through. So much for our relaxing day. The pictures I have attached have arrows and descriptions of SOME of the issues. Biggest complaints are, didn't remove glue from nail we had to peel it from her skin and would have had to file them when we get home, did not file or clean up the excess roughness under the nail, very noticable brush strokes, rough surface, lumps, OH AND gave charged us $5 extra without telling me until I went back to ask, the reason was because when they asked what shape and my daughter choose almond. I told her she should really tell customers there is an upcharge BEFORE they do the service and at least inform them when they are ringing it up. Then I informed her what all we were upset about and, when I showed her where they left the nail glued to her skin and never even filed it. Her reply was "oh just just have to file it". I said I know that and, we will when we get home but we should not be the ones to have to do it. She grabbed a file and fixed her sides and I walked out. Bottom line if you are a regular they must take good care of you BUT if you are just passing thru or looking for a new place, be very outspoken if you are dissapointed. I was not and I regret it. I always tip generously however no tip, and bad review

I used to go here a lot. The two ladies are so kind and always greeted me warmly and asked about something we had talked about the previous visit. Very clean, inviting surroundings. Really liked this place for my monthly pedicure!

Not impressed. Unclean nail equipment (dryers). Got a fill and had a lot of product left on my fingers (not polish but the powder for fill that dries like cement). Also have never had a technician leave some of the old nail color on underneath the "fill."  Have been having my nails done for years in many places, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. New to the area and will not be going back here. Was rather shocked a regular fill with gel polish was $35.

I have had my nails for 4 days since I visited the salon. Already chipped away and peeling. I asked her to do a coffin shape i for squares. My index finger is bent and she declined to fix it. $60 I'm so unhappy. Never will set foot into this nail salon again.

Small amount of polish to choose from. Many bottles 3/4 empty and crusty. Technicians rushed and painted toes and fingers quickly and messy. Only 3 technicians working. Service was rushed. I did not feel pampered or cared for. Worst polish I've ever had. I had 4 repairs while there and still left with awful polish. Don't waste your time or money there!
