VIP BARBERSHOP in Bridgeport, CT

Aaaaaaaah.
A fine barbershop in the Bridgeport area.
This was a true experience from booking to chair.
Most men are committed to their barbers; as am I.
However we're from NYC and the 2 hr. drive is daunting. So on my quest for a new barber, I found VIP and I will tell you, it is a true VIP experience.

* Booking: I booked on the acuity scheduling site, it was quick and straightforward. After my appointment I learned there is an app where you can book and earn rewards. I received my first stamp at my first visit

*Location: The shop is in a tiny strip mall with ample parking and other neighboring small business

**The Feel*: Upscale and Welcoming...The shop is well put together, the owner thought through every stage of the customer experience and if you are someone who values quality and experience you will appreciate this shop. I cannot say enough for the feel in this one post. There were positive vibes all around, engaging conversation...one of the barbers even recommended a local pizza shop that just opened in downtown bpt.

*The Cut: Of course, every barber is different however, I have confidence that whoever's chair you're in you will leave satisfied. I asked for a tape up and small design with Victor and I am satisfied. To note, all the barbers seem to be skilled; they will ask what you're looking for and even details. I heard one barber ask a guy if he wanted a round or square back, Vic asked me if I wanted pointed side burns. He even helped me choose design ideas.

I'm the kind of person that's been going to the same barber in my neighborhood since my first haircut. After moving cities to southern CT, I've been researching barbershops and been consistently disappointed with most places I've visited. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try VIP barbershop and made an appointment with Vic after work. I am so glad I did. Vic was an absolute professional. Got an excellent side part, exceeding my expectations. Vic also used a air pressurizer to blow away the hair clippings. It was the first time in my life I didn't need to shower right after a cut. Can't recommend this place enough. I've found my new barbershop.

Amazing barhershop! I recently moved to Connecticut from New York and used to drive back to New York to get my haircuts until I met Vic. He's a master barber and does one of the cleanest cuts. Everyone is super friendly in the shop and they have an appointment system, which is amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a fresh fade to check out the shop. Vic is hands down one of the best barbers.

Nikki does an exceptionally great job on my hair i've been going to Vics shop now for a number on years, the place is the best around. Well managed well kept and great dedicated staff ! Chris gives very good chops as well, Nikki's the bomb however! For a great consistent haircut and a well maintained clean and classy shop, go to vip you can't go wrong, that's why they're so successful and it shows.....
