Vicky Nails in Randallstown, MD

Extremely poor quality service. Had a $30 pedicure where no products were used, only warm water. No cuticle remover or oil, just plain water and a pedicure chair with motionless water in its tub. Manicure was just as bad with plain water, no cuticle remover or lotion. Even had to show the manicurist where she missed spots when applying polish. I laughed at myself and said YOU GOT ROBBED. THEY JUST DIDN'T USE A GUN. I should have known better. Vicky's was empty when I walked in. I'm spreading the word. Vicky's is horrible!

No stars!! I was there on 12/2/23. They are dirty and rude! An older lady was asking a young male technician a question and he was disrespectful. He called her an old woman. I told him he was inappropriate and to be respectful. Another tech told me to mind my business. When I told her she needed to address the young man, another technician proceeded to bend over to indicate to kiss her butt and give me the middle finger. The older lady and I left. Never will I patronize this place.

I've been going to Vicky Nails for 6 years since I got my first set of acrylic nails done for prom season. Recently I've been getting a mani pedi with simple gel nails and they always have me out in about 45 minutes. My pedicures can last for up to a month while the manicure will last me 2-3 weeks.

I started coming here last year to get my pedicure & I haven't been disappointed yet. Andy does my feet most of the time but all of the men do a good job I get gel on my toes and they last me for about a month. They do require you to still wear a mask which is fine, r also clean the pedicure bowls. I'm not sure about any other services but I highly recommend getting a pedicure here. Yes they do greet you as well.

I went here today because I was in desperate need of a new acrylic set. Though I was waited on immediately upon entering, I did not like this experience at all. Of all the years that I have been getting my nails done, this was the most interesting. Before I get to the nails, I will start with the location. It was okay inside. It was pretty much on trend with every other nail shop; however, it may not have been as updated. It is located in a strip mall that in my opinion has had its ups and downs over the years. Today, it was pretty difficult to find parking, as the banquet hall a few doors down was having an event of some sort. As for the prices, they are pretty similar to other salons in the area. From the very beginning, I wondered how long the nail technician has been doing nails because his techniques were questionable. He seemed to be having difficulty positioning my hand and contorted my fingers, hands and arms in sometimes uncomfortable positions to suit his odd way of doing nails. As he applied the overlay, it kept messing up and he had to continually remove the excess from each nail, not one time, not two times, but for every nail. He then filed the nails down very little, so I can only imagine the degree of unevenness of the acrylic I will detect as I inspect these nails closer. Back to his technique, at first I thought he was being meticulous, but it really ended up coming across as lack of skill and expertise. It almost reminded me of someone who can't dance, counting the steps in their head while looking awkward doing it. It was just weird. All of my nail shop reviews will reveal that I am a salon hopper because of some level of disappointment. A large amount of money is charged for these services, which often ends in substandard and many times shoddy work. I will keep an eye on the nails over the next few days, but I guess my nail shop quest continues.
