Tena's nails was an excellent experience for me. Personalized service, friendly, kind and skillful. I got a mani-pedi, which was the best my feet had looked and felt all summer. She took extra time and effort to scrub my summer weary, barefoot as much as possible, feet. Much appreciated! Her niece did a great job of painting nails, and was a delight as well. The other people in the shop at the same time were very pleased as well. Thank you for your great service Tena!
I have been going to Tena's since moving to Washington in 2007. Tena moved back east then Helen and Jimmy took over. I have NEVER had an issue with the quality or the painting here. They are very accomodating but then I believe that if I am good to them they are good to me. They bend over backwards to satisfy me. With as old as some of these reviews are I am not surprised. The painting at first was not so great but with time and practice it is better. I would not go anywhere else unless I am traveling. Two colors on nails is crazy. Helen does beautiful designs and my fills and pedicures have lasted 2 months. I was sick and could not get in (so as not to spread the illness) and I do a lot of cleaning so it is not an issue. I would not change a thing. Thanks Helen and Jimmy.

I wish I would have read the previous reviews... the gentleman that helped me did pretty bad job on painting ny nails. I went in for a mani/pedi. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is for the massage I got on my legs/feet for my pedi. That was the only good part of my whole experience there.
Went in for a mani/pedi for my birthday. We had never been there before, but decided to give it a shot. They were friendly when we came in... There were 3 of us. They took one of us to start on her nails while turning on the water for the pedicures for two of us. Why didn't all three of us soak together? I have no idea. So, the husband set me up in a chair and my feet didn't even get to soak for 2 minutes before he started doing my pedicure! I prefer to soak for a while before getting started. Plus, we were there 1/2 hour early for our appointments and they had nothing else, he could have let me soak for a while. So, my friend was soaking in the chair next to me while he did my pedicure so she ended up soaking for quite a while. He polished my toes and it was AWFUL. The worst polish job I've EVER had. it was just awful. and he didn't scrub my feet. he just barely used the scrub thing on them... so they didn't feel smooth or nice at all after! Plus, they don't do the wax treatment that I LOVE and have always gotten at other businesses. I then decided to try the gel polish for my manicure because I work with my hands and my nails chip easily... so I picked my color and got started. He again was the one to do my polish and it was again AWFUL. he missed all of the sides of my nails and I noticed after I got out in the sunlight that there were spots that weren't polished all the way in the middle of my nail! and they didn't do a real manicure. He just polished my nails. didn't do any sort of lotions or anything. Overall, it was an awful experience and I will NOT be going back. I will be going to a different salon to get my nails fixed after this man completely ruined the polish job. I'm glad I didn't get acrylics! Who knows how badly they could have messed that up! They were rushed and took on too much with only two of them being there. it's messy and I feel like they weren't very sanitary. Never again!!
