Us Nails in Fruita, CO

Despite my nails looking pretty, the guy doing them destroyed my cuticles. I was bleeding on FOUR nails. I even told him beforehand I don't like my cuticles done and to do a little bit. They were bleeding so badly, we had to pause and get them to stop bleeding with paper towels and a fan. He put some stuff on them that burned but hoping it was an antibacterial thing. It finally stopped bleeding and then at the end he massaged the fingers and the nails!! They all were bleeding again. I had my mom get Neosporin from the car to prevent infection. Had to wait again to get them to stop bleeding. Now that they stopped bleeding, I can see the real manage, he literally took off a chunk of skin! We spent $250 (including tip) for my nails to bleed and risk of infection?! Insane. I will not go back and advised my mom not to as well. This is not okay and we shouldn't have paid a dime for this. I swear I better not get an infection and have it documented if I do.

Whenever I visit the area, I like to get a pedicure. I decided to try someplace new. The people where friendly but I felt like they were rushing our pedicures- yet nobody was waiting. There was a lady getting a pedicure right before my turn. The technician had me sit in the same place and she didn't even clean the bowl or the chair. I am sure my feet have touched dirtier location but I expect my pedicures to be done in a sanitary area. Pedicures are supposed to be a relaxing experience- not rushed. If I wanted just a polish change , I would have painted my toes myself.

Great folks at US Nails. My daughter in law and I have gotten acrylics and gels a few times now with great long lasting results. I had the massage with hot stones and wax this time. It was relaxing and the conversation enlightening and fun. I will continue going to US Nails.

I'm new at getting manicures and am happy I chose US nails in Fruita! I received an unexpected hand & neck massage afterward which is what prompted this review. I am also happy with the gel French manicure. I will be returning to US nail for all my future nail needs!

We are traveling and I was in need of a pedicure. I called this place and they were very friendly, made an appointment for me at exactly the time I wanted. When I got there, they again were very friendly. I was going to get the regular pedicure, but she talked me into a better one because I had dry spots and she said with that pedicure she could get rid of them. Fast forward 5 days and the polish is already chipping off. Not good! (I brought in my own polish, the gel stuff from Sally Hansen. My last pedicure lasted 5 WEEKS.) Upon closer inspection, I can see she only put one coat of polish on. Not good. The dry spots I paid extra to be removed, came back the next day. Really not good. When I walked out of the salon, I was happy. Now, not so much.
