Ulta Beauty in Odessa, TX

I was looking for a good foundation. I wasn't sure what shade to get. Z was awesome and so friendly!!! I told her the brand I wanted to try. She said that with where I work and as hot as it's going to get, that another brand would be better. She helped me get the right shade (cause I always look orange when I pick the shade). I love the shade and it lasts all day!!! Thank you so much Z!!!

Only go with Elise. I went with another stylist one time and never again. I had never dyed my hair and Elise gave me highlights, i absolutely loved them. I will only get my hair colored with her if I decide to go back.

I came here looking for the new Kylie ph lip tint...they were sadly low on stock for it but Carla was extremely helpful, she walked around the store with me and showed me different options that are similar to the product i was originally looking for. Then i was looking for my bad habit face wash, ulta no longer carries it, but Carla was also asking for what the face wash had in it and she walked around showing me other brands that has similar ingredients, AWESOME! I know thats how customer service works but It's so hard to find good customer service and an employee that has the patience, but she was amazing and i was so thankful for her help. I hope the manager at this store sees this review because Ms. Carla deserves a raise or something. She's awesome!

Absolutely amazing service. Had my daughter's hair cut and Ida was very patient with her (she's only 5) and made sure I was happy with the cut before we left. The store itself was very clean and orderly. All staff members were friendly and helpful.

I placed a hair and make up appointment with one of the stylist they have there, when I got there she asked me what kind of makeup look I wanted I told her I wanted a natural look. For starters ... she didn't tell me that all they were going to use on my face would be testers ... unless I paid for all the makeup that was going to be used. Then she made me walk with her throughout the store to pick out the makeup (I am not the paid stylist .. what would I know about makeup? That's why I paid YOU the STYLIST to do my makeup stress free) after all that she asked this rude co worker to help her choose my make up because she wasn't too sure how to pick my makeup I guess? Then when she finally got done with picking out everything we went back and she kept telling me she didn't like the way my hair came out (she left my hair freezy what I wanted was big waves and I got napping freezy waves) when she got to my make up she continued to plaster a thick foundation on to my face pressing it everywhere even my hair, she asked me every time she was done if I liked it & then with every other thing she added it just got thicker and ore scarier. I looked like a clown by the time I left. She sure didn't know what she was doing and I will NEVER go back with someone so stressful like her again. I honestly recommend going to your personal hair stylist or paying a little extra with someone who knows what they are doing. I do not recommend or at least the blonde girl who helped me. Also I was there for almost 2 hours when it was only supposed to be an hour and 15 minutes.
