Ulta Beauty in Jeffersonville, IN

i've never had a problem with Ulta. especially this one. but when i came in the other day the staff were incredibly rude. there was one who was very sweet but the rest were unprofessional and rude. we overheard them talking bad about customers and i even heard one say something about me and my friend. i'm not sure the names, but thank you to the girl who helped me and thank you for being professional and caring. but i am very disappointed because i've always loved this location, but i'm not going to go somewhere where the employees have attitudes to their customers and when i checked out they never said thank you, or have a good day. just said "print of email receipt" and then gave me my receipt and turned right around to talk about other customers with their coworkers. i'm just overly disappointed.

I know it's Christmas Eve, so I added one more star than I really thought they deserved, but the staff of this Ulta was very unfriendly today. I was very disappointed to learn there was no clearance section and when I asked for a small discount for a kit that was especially damaged, I was told it would still be the full price. I mean I'm buying Christmas presents- the appearance of the package is pretty important to me! I'm not paying full price because you all weren't careful? I'll go to Sephora. The response I got was "well, the staff well purchase that if you don't." Uh, okay. So then I typed into Google "Ulta military discount" and tried showing the cashier they would offer 10% if I had purchased through the website? The cashier we had, who was extremely unenthusiastic, barely looked at us and only said 'well we don't do that here' . She didn't even say 'sorry, I wish we did', she didn't even say Happy Holidays as she handed us our bag AFTER WE SPENT $300! Yep. Someone needs to sing a Christmas carol. Because trying to talk to that cashier was the low point of our day. I should've pressed to speak to the manager but I didn't want to stare at the scowl of this girl anymore. I think I'll buy directly from the makeup website next time and skip this entire shitty experience.

4 stars! Good store energy and I love the girl with the colored hair! She knows a lot about everything especially skin. I have been visiting over the past few months and get her to help every time. Never fails! Clean and big windows so very welcoming!

Love this store! Always clean and everyone isn't snobby and they are always willing to help you. You cannot test anything with "testers" anymore, of course.

The only issue is... for example...KKW does not carry her best sellers here, along with other name brands who do this also. They keep those for online and their stores only, of course.
Also, if you can't find something in store because of a Tiktok fad...you can order it online.

3.5 stars, rounded up. Brand new location in Jeffersonville across from Menards and behind Wild Eggs/Boombazz Pizza. I love Ulta, but haven't made a trip to one in about six months or so. I ran out of stock on my favorite conditioner, and have been searching unsuccessfully for it for a few days, when I remembered this new location.

It's clean and pretty inside, like all Ulta locations. They do a good job of keeping clean, organized, and well-stocked stores. Not only did they have my favorite conditioner, but they even had a current sale: buy two and get one free. Sold. However, when I was checking out, it didn't ring up accordingly. They clerk didn't know, and had to call the manager. The manager came and had to go and verify. It didn't take that long, but the manager should have never had to go and look. Her job is to know her products, promotions, and store inside and out, especially a small store like this. Plus, there were BOGO sale signs all over the hair care section. There were no apologies for the wait and/or error of the register, which should be a pretty basic response. No major harm or foul, but it wasn't the type of experience that made one feel valued as a customer. Still, it's a nice store with a great location, and they carry my favorite conditioner; that's why I rounded up. I'm sure I'll return.
