went into ulta last year around this time with my sister,daughter and nephew. we were in there looking around and mentioned many times that we needed help,all the workers(there were like 4 or 5 who werent busy) just ignore us and then go on to help others who came in after us. we were in there more than 20 minutes. no one would help us out. so needless to say my sister took her business elsewhere. she was looking to spend a good bit too. I will never shop there. If they people who work there arent going to help certain customers then why even work there?
My problem with Ulta is 1. You have to ASK if there is a gift with purchase and half the time, they tell you "No" then I get home and check the website to find out that there was one. Or, they just throw something into the bag, and it's not the actual gift that is supposed to go with the purchase. 2. When you get their credit card, it says you can pay with a Debit card on their website, but when you try to do it, the link takes you to an error page. Then, if you call customer service, they want to charge you $12 to speak to a representative, and then they tell you that you can only pay with a debit card if you call in and speak to a representative. So an extra $12 to make a payment...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! NOOOOOOO. I cancelled my card after the first month when I found all this out. 3. Finding someone to help you in the store is hit or miss.
Several registers but usually one person working.. I've had to leave before getting waited on b/c so short on time. Hire Help & make sure employees interested in working rather than primping!
I love Ulta. Great selections of pretty much everything. Items are easy to find. Clean store and the workers are super nice.
