Tulip City Beauty College in Holland, MI

I'm a graduate from Tulip City and out of all of the places i've toured NOTHING comes close to the experience I had! With everything this school has to offer the best part is the staff, they're selfless and do anything to make sure you succeed in every way possible, in school or not they'll be right with you. The dress code is professional and like your average salon, there's no crazy rules that are easy to follow. If it wasn't for the tech program and the amazing guidance from Kelli I wouldn't have continued the program, while you're in her class she does what she can to help you understand and exceed in everything you learn. The Instructors in the adult program are just as amazing, they strive for your success and give you every opportunity to do the best you can and get to every goal you have! If it wasn't for this school I wouldn't be where I am today!

Tulip City Beauty College is one of the most admirable teaching facilities in Holland. Not only do they have amazing instructors who care about their career, but they also take time and consideration for their students to insure they succeed. The instructors teach their students how to be sensitive and empathetic to their future customers. Lastly, the entire school supports their communities. As someone who has worked in the domestic violence field, I a watched them change lives of survivors by making them feel confident and strong. They offered services at no cost to empower people who needed it most. If you are considering working in this industry, consider being taught by the best. FYI- I've been getting my hair done by one of their people for 20 years. She's THE best. Kelly Taylor thank you for everything you do.

Went in to get a cut wash and dry. The girls/students were very welcoming. The teacher or supervisor wasn't as friendly, but the service from the student Faith was lovely. Understood what I wanted done even though I have very curly hair and she completed the look. Don't go in expecting a super ambiance cause that's not what this is. It's very much so a working environment. But they are good students who know what they're doing. Answered all my questions, I will be back for sure.

$7 wash and cut. Amazing 1/2 hr facials. Prices are great for what they offer. If your looking to get you cosmetology degree you can here in less than 1yr.
